Would a lightning sentry trapper be good as a Pindle and Baal runner?

I'm thinking of getting all mf-gear, and all points into lightning sentry and its synergies except maybe one into shadow master/warrior for extra lightning sentries.

I'm hoping this would be a fast killing build, and if needed I can get my hands on an infinity.

Anyone have experience with this type of build?

I have an mf trapper myself, it works for baal, chaos, keys, andy, meph very easy, just for doing baal runs make sure u have good light res and an infinity merc for light immunes.

yeah, an infinity will probably be necessary.

did you go with shadow warrior or shadow master? i heard somewhere that the skills that shadow warrior use are more easily controlled, since they work off what you have toggled?

also, did you go with enigma?

thanks for the input

I'm playing HC and have just got my sin to lvl 83. Haven't tried MF'ing yet but i plan to.

Now i don't have godly items but they are good enough for now. Where should i start MF'ing ?

I was thinking Pits would be the only real place i would be able to hack it but this thread has got me thinking.

i've read up some and 5 traps is the maximum, SW/SM included. so in that case, SM is the better choice.

as for location, pindle seems to be an ideal spot. i'm not sure the pits would be a good spot since the monsters in there might move to quickly and i'm not sure how well you tank. meph should be easy, but you probably need a lower resist wand since bartucs is always (?) lightning immune.

my approach was just to find high drop locations where i could just lay traps and stay away from melee action.

I am pretty damn sure you are wrong about that, and thats from experience, not hearsay.

This is EXACTLY what the Pits represents, to me anyway.:wink3:

5 traps is max excluding sm/sw.

oh ok, good stuff =) - the more LS, the better

as you can tell i haven't built a trapper before. so i guess SW would be better then.
