Europe/classic/non ladder..question

Bear with me... I've just started my 1st europe account and have no idea what the decent items are and how much they cost (i play west and asia). USwest items are valued in SOJS but the godly duped items actual soj value has decreased over the past few years now that dupe sojs are becoming scarce - e.g. an item such as imps shank dupe boot has a value of 40-50 sojs (in duped items) but for hard sojs you can get a pair for around 15-20. Does this trend apply in europe realm? if not hows it work an what are the godly items/prices - thank you

there are duped rings with stacked res, not sure about prices, 2-4 for 1 soj??
244 helmet with perfect ruby - 1 soj, 2soj for perfect emerald?? (or like 2x244pe for 3 soj?)
1soj for a 341dmg pike

dont know the belts, but they are quite expensive too I think

well, dunno about you, but I never found even a single soj..
did you find 100? oO

there are better dupes and few (german?) websites with people trading them, so maybe there are better ones
but usually you see a barb wearing a 185bh/swordback or 246 (+2, ias of course)/213 (+2,ias,cold dmg) exec/swordback in a red duped ornate 888 and a 244 helmet
goblins and angelics
dunno what belt (there are few dupes with cold dmg)

there is also 286duped martel - 1 soj

black bow - 1 soj?? (like 148 dmg, +2, ias, dual leech via skull of course)

most weapons have pskulls

fohers dont work too well in duels I think

not sure about svs duel, these dupes are probably more rare


msg me if you want, although I play rarely, but I would like to have someone to play with, since all my friends became inactive I think

I seriously doubt anything going for 50+ SoJs on any classic realm at this time. I can see Steve mebbe pawning off one of his complete character equips for that amount, but not a single item, especially not for a dupe, since afaik, they are worth less then legits. Then again, I was raised on the Europe realm, where the SoJ value was never at such a all time low cept during very specific weekends.

50+ still seems steep to me, let alone 100+. How does one trade that ? Since you can only fit 40 SoJs in a single inventory.

Then again, when I go to another realm, the first thing out of my mouth wouldn't be "What do the dupes cost around here ?"
It's handy to have access to a dupelist so you can avoid trading for them, but that is about all the info I would need about them.

Nice one - i will do that - when i say 100 sojs thats the duped gear value (it gets confusing..) if you were paying straight sojs prob 30 - and no i havent found 100 lol i only ever found 6 in prob 10,000 hours.. few years back on west there were tens of thousands of sojs duped so they had little value - since 1.10 (correct me if i am wrong?) people cant dupe so sojs are increasing in value again hence a 100 sojs items (2 years ago) you can get for 30 sojs but if youre offering other duped items we use the old price of 100...confused?

ps 100 soj is not considered a really expensive item - Try 2 x chaos band fcr rings worth prob 500 in gear... mods are 10fcr 15 str 15fr 62cr 62 lr 15 pr an mana.... An i wont even start on the scepters

Ah, these are 'weekend of duping spree' prices. Ok, makes sense now. I recall in that weekend PS's where worth more then SoJs. The economy was already limping, that weekend was a bit like the Lassie meets shotgun moment for the Diablo economy.
Sounds like a ok ring that Chaos band, now if only it where legit, it would be godly.

Me too. Players who use dupes are, IMO, cheaters. Sooner or later I close all threads with dupe talk. This one is close.

Butcher, FYI--this is a legit site. I alow dupe talk once in a while, as it relates to the use of and the ethics of using them. You may want to check out the forum rules. Also, please use the edit button when you have something else to add. You have an hour to edit a post before it is locked.

hmm Tlaking about the duoes really isnt against any rules - I only have west dupes which ive traded and all dupes were once an original. Anyhow my best items are legits, if battlenet had a problem witht he old duped items then tey would just delete them? by the way - wy would you close a thread just for talking about an items that exist - read back you'll see i have not once promoted dupes - i dont use mh or glitches HELL i dont even juv! :P So pls - no more fascist dictation and polite reference to the rules - i read them before joining. I think typing that a certain item is worth 100+ SoJ's comes quite close to 'glorifying' that item, which is clearly stated in the rules as something better left off this forum.

In the end it comes down to us being unpaying guests here, so we really don't have any place to complain about the requests posed by the people who pay for the bandwidth.
It might also be considered 'bad form' to refer to people who freely give their time, so we can enjoy these forums without having to dredge trough hundreds of pointless threads, as fascists. They don't think up and lay down the law, they simply ask people to respect the rules.

At this time, there is only my gibbrish and utter dribble to content with, the other people here post usefull information and good ideas.

To be honest I don't care enough to look through each of his old posts, but it certainly seems like you want to ban (or reban?) him, and I would think that if you were to ban him, you would need some proof. Yes or no?

By now you are probably thinking that I am reaching. Well, I have the account *UM-Emperor on the USWest server. One time when I got a realm down I figured I would mess around on USEast. To my surprise, the account was taken. I can tell you for a fact that me and this other person are not one in the same.

As for the (re)banning of people: Please reban mcm, blobs, immortality, etc. They have all made new accounts yet remain active on this forum. While you are at it, please go ban Halciet; he has recommended using dupes to people.

Not many people read the rules around here. This is evidenced by the countless posts you will see where people claim that mentioning dupes is against the rules.

Dacar can even decide to allow the naming of specific maphacks in this subforum. And if someone were to bring this up, dacar would get defensive saying that she won't discuss interpretations of the rules with lowly forum members (what interpreting needs to be done, I have no idea, I think that is one thing that is said pretty clearly in the forum rules). Only when someone brings the post to the attention of one of the forum owners will the post be removed. Makes you wonder what her ulterior motives may be, doesn't it?

On a more solemn note, expect to be banned shortly. I hate to see you go, but it is obvious that you think for yourself, and that is frowned upon here, or at least in this subforum anyway.

Zoola McCoola5? Come on.... What more proof do you need? Like someones really gonna pull that name off the top of their heads. "Um-" is well known and is used for some clans. "Emperor"? A common word. Zoola McCoola5?!?! (with the second C capitolized), the odds would be astronomical. That's enough proof for me.

I myself have seen a forum name of Zoola McCoola on a forum with a completely different topic than video games. Sure, it may be the same person, but the fact remains that there are how many people on earth? So even if the odds of a person thinking of the name Zoola McCoola are 1 in 1 trillion, then the chances are pretty darn good that more than one person has. Kevin William Kox is a three part name, does that mean that the odds of anyone else on earth having the name Kevin William Kox (even with a capital K, OGM) are even less?

As for the capital C being proof: The second c would be capitalized because it is an irish name. You know, like McDonald, or McPartland. See the pattern?

EDIT: And what about the point I raised about all the other banned forum members that have returned? Why don't you exhibit such drive to get these people rebanned?

Well i am sorry for the proverbial can of worms, but this was my 1st ever post/visit to your site. i came hoping to meet some europe players to run with, not to incite wat is obviously a sore point with some. What surprised me was the 100 sojs thing - that is the price - no glorifying as anyone who plays USwest full time would know - shame really, mention a price and instantly upset a moderator - I have played this game for more hours than i can count and am also more than willing to help others and your site - please guys relax a little with the dupe thing and dont scare your customer base away

I can understand where you're comming from(why you asked). Just trying to get a feel for the economy. Anybody would in a new environment.
And since you are new and didn't quite know what kind of can of worms it was, nobody will hold it against you I think.
What I'm trying to say is welcome, enjoy your stay. I'm on Euro nl sc, so we might run into eachother if you are there aswell.
Please try to refrain from referring to dupes(It's just a request, I have no jurisdiction here).
Weather or not one chooses to use them it is between them and their deity(Diablo for most of us here. :) ).

Consider PS's (What !?!? Are yee mad ?) another tier.
High levels who use them to reroll will give you descent items for them.
Sub 90's usually won't give you much for PS's.
Just make a game O PS, I'm sure the right people will join eventually, after those who come there to have a good laugh(at their own ignorance, even though they don't realise that).

Why, even gold can be used to buy things. I bought a gull for 3Milion a while back. :)

But indeed Swordback is a matter of chance weather or not somebody needs it (They drop quite often, or at least, they seem to for me) and not really currency. As are gobs, although I can usually use another pair, not everybody shares this mindset.
