View Full Version : Finishing off my Necro

I've been working on a summoner, (not following any particular build,) and was wondering where I should put the rest of my skill points. I have maxed raise skeleton and skeleton mastery along with bone spirit. i have 5 points in skele mage, and everything else has 1 or 2 pts. Any suggestions for what skills to work on?

Corpse Explosion. The skill that can clear a room in mere seconds. You can also max Skeletal Mage too if you want more minions.

I Ijust got to Hell as well, and will CE be as effective in Hell as it is in NM or normal? Also, with the increased amount of elemental immune monsters, and skeletal mages worth maxing?

CE is still a wonderful skill in Hell.

My mf necro has maxed mages and with a point lower resist this helps shift the PI immunes as the positioning of the mages around the necro usually concentrates their elemental fire power on a single target.

He also has maxed bone spirit, doing around 600 points unsynergised, to help speed things up and a point in each curse.Dimvision and CE used together in hell are a powerful combination.

A lot depends whether you play in parties or are happy backing off and restarting a game if bad combinations pop up on the monsters.

1 skill in Bone Armor, the remaining ones in Bone Prison/Bone Wall (preferably Bone Prison because the more points you put in, the less mana it takes to cast). With enough + skill items, you can get around 3-400 points of protection easy.

thanks for your help. Probably going to work more on CE than on the mages.
