So, we all know concbarbs pretty much died the day all other barbs started using angelics rings+ammy(godly AR). Also, godly def gear can be hard to get (life/def/fhr nates, 173020/def Grims)..
So, after thinking about that for a while, i came up with this idea:
A Barb using Concentrate and wearing stuff like Twitch, death's, etc (useful items with very low defense) wouldnt do that bad, seeing as he could easily reach max block, and due to concentrate being uninterruptible...
Kinda reminds me of a berserker, only Conc would do less damage but be better PvP, as berserkers never land a hit due to being block/stunlocked...
also, BO (a must for, i would say, any barb) gives the best damage bonus to Conc (200% with lvl 20 BO, 10% per lvl), making it an efficient build (no wasted synergies, for example: Shout and Berserk)
Gear wise, the aforementioned Twitch and Deaths (gloves+belt) would probably be a must, giving the much needed 50 IAS, cannot be frozen, Stats, res, FHR, and Blocking... also angelic rings + ammy (ironic, using what practically made concbarbs obsolete) Then probably, depending on situation, a 3pdiam tower/pavise, Swordback... Sig Shield+Helm... many options there... Boots wise, maybe Gtoes(more dmg) or some 30R/W res Fhr boots (good luck with those) heck... even gorefoot would help with CS runs (remember u dont have Leap anymore)
Skills wise, The obvious Mastery, Battle orders, Concentrate, 1 point in Battle Command, some Increased Speed, some Natural Resistance...
One thing I'm not sure about, the rest of the points should be dumped in 1 on the synergies to concentrate... at first sight Bash seems the better option, as it gives 5% more dmg per lvl, opposed to the 1% magic damage that Berserk gives. Also Bash recives an AR Bonus from Conc, which would make bash a good secondary skill, either to knock back some enemies when the crowd gets too large for conc to handle, or bash them into a wall and lock them in hit recovery animation... heh, even catching that town hugger noob with bash would make it a good choice. On the other hand, the small 1%Magic damage bonus from berserk could mean more damage than the 5% from Bash when hitting anything with the slightest physical resistance... also i've heard somewhere that the PvP effectiveness of magic damage is higher than the effectiveness of Physical damage... Some input here would be much apreciated :)
Another thing to consider would be the kind of weapon to use... IAS would be a most important modifier in any case, but what would work better? a heavy hitting, slow, low range Battle Hammer? or a weak damage, fast, high range Naga? IAS breakpoints will probably determine the best solution... so some help here too is apreciated :)
