Help With Naga Build?

i got a realy nice naga the other day (180 ed + 10-14 dmg, 54-139)

i know nagas hit more than bh's but i really dont know how to build them. budget is 5-10 sojs. i dont know if i should go pure bvb or bva. or use all def/fhr/life gear or twitch and what not. would also like to use angelics for bvb (dont like lower ar on dupe/lgt bvb rings)

here are basic questions
Def or not?
bva or bvb?
speeder?
any other info on nagas?
do nagas work really well?
i already have a bvb using 89-168 lgt bh, will it be better than that?
soposodly nagas have more range, do i need to skirt in duels?

Why the BH ?
Naga has more range than BH.

I'd make the Axer, simple because its a sexeh Axe :)

I vaguely recall a naga barb was discussed already, as where the benifits of using a naga rather then a battle hammer.

If all else fails, use it on a Frenzy. :)

I should really be more patient trading, but just don't take the game seriously enough I guess. perhaps that's why I'm so poor. At any rate, good luck with it, and enjoy, I already have too many "works in progress" to now build an axer, and it was taking up inventory space I didn't have. :shrug:

I had people (after I traded it) offer me 3 sojs for it. Of course, they were nowhere to be found for the 10 days I tried trading it...

I have sold many fhr, tri resist +life armors to charsi rather than get ridiculed cause the life isn't +50, or cause one of the resists is lower, or cause the fhr is only 10 vs 24, etc.

with average legits, and easily obtainable things like shard/magefist it's amazing how far one can go in the game.

hell, my lvl 88 blizzer still mostly uses a tri pdia dragon shield when csing.

however, now that I know how much in demand these things are I'll shop it around more before growing weary of trying to trade it.

*gasp* even if it's only 17fhr, +36 life and one of the resists is poison?

it's almost amusing how offense some of these "ultra godly snobs" can be during a trade session. I have also been known to jump into a nm game, and just start dropping stuff like this in rogue...

good buddy of mine, with a penchant for getting other people riled up, has 3 accounts full of mules that I have stocked with items, dual leach, bi resist gloves with mf, hot spurs, tarns, magefists, +2 pally items, more bi resist fcr/leach rings than I can count etc.

he likes to hoard it (and lost the mules from a lack of effort at perming them) whereas, I'd rather someone get some use out of it, and if I happen to get something in return, then cool. :)

Well tbh im not a big fan of poison resist but im desperately looking for a sorc armor that doesnt look like ***. I have a few nice ones but theyre all breast plates which dont look so sharp on a sorc. Id be happy with a fhr life dual res but if theres poison resist in extra, ill still take it. :smiley:

Gheh ... I know that. I have 2 mule accounts.
But I also like to use my own items, in regard to trading for them.
Perhaps a bit more satisfcation.

Besides, you said it, the snobby traders who want only the uber gear, and offer cracked sashes or offer crap and want 1337 Gosu Itamz ... bah. I hate trading. :P

Altho, my stock of nice items is running low ... And weird enough as it is ... I find less Items now than I did when making the characters that use them ;)

our thread hi-jack should have helped bump it, without the blatant, obvious, and not allowed "bump" that would get someone a temporary ban.

I've never made an axxer, or for that matter a bvs so I'm afraid that I can't help with other than the pointers towards the various guids on speeder/frenzy babas (which I think is the recomendation mentioned earlier by someone else)

yes, I knew the naga was worth more than you paid. I'm not at all that upset about it, which is also what I was trying to convey in my earlier posts.

I'm quite glad to see you building a char around the item. It's actually a nice luxury to have compared to starting out all new.

my lvl 88 hammerdin is one of my first chars... he only has 230 vit, as when I made him, I didn't have proper gear for him (he wore a bi resist, fhr +life chaos armor at 140 str early on) someday, I'll make another hammerdin, but he'll still be good for mule-ing and such. I abhor the thought of deleting an 88 lvl char.

If your going against barbs, use twitch, swordback,angelic ammy,both rings,biggins bonnet, goblin toe,and whatever gloves it doesn't really matter.
