Is WWSin Still Worth to Try??

When i first start playing the v1.1 a few months ago.... i like to do a ww assassin. Now my other characters have advanced to their maturity but my assassin is till hanging there. The reasons are: first, i need to collect other gears for her, and second, I am NOT SURE the "chaos" and "Fury" will work as promised.

I tried to make a "malice" and found the damage it deals is way too small. With most socketable claws i encountered for the last few months... they are very low in damages. Other rune word gear may stepup greatly after runed. e.g. I made an "Insight" polearm with a socketable item which deals hundred sth damages but to my surprise it becomes four hundred sth after I made it into an Insight.


Will that happen to chaos and fury? If not, then why is there people playing ww assassin. The damage is no enf to get u thru NM not to mention Hell.

Tx all for advices. Please help me out since I really fancy a wwsin (if it works!!!)

Whirlwind assassins are player vs player characters for the most part. They are effective duelers because players dont (if they are playing by a sort of random set of rules called GM) heal and once they bleed that life is gone. WWsins work by poisoning and bleeding opponents. Against monsters, melee chars need crushing blow. Look at Tragic's guide for a pvm wwsin, but they are really duelers...

er im still new to wwsin but from wat i know if u r playing pvm u need to stack venom, ow n cb this will let u deal massive damage in a very short time

tx guys .... my plan is to build it according to Tragic's ww guide. The reason I asked is that the runes for "chaos" and "Fury" ain't cheap!! If they do not work as stated... I am in deep dodo...those runes can spear me for "Infinity" or even "Doom".

If u have made those pls let me know their effectiveness. Many...many tx

Btw, shadow master isn't that smart when it comes to pvm. You will find yourself trying to ww groups of enemies while sm mindblasts them and converts some. You won't be leeching and it is annoying.
