Hybrid - PvM?

Whats up guys? I been playing many characters as of late :D barbs, necro, amazon, paladin, assassin.

Im getting kinda bored with my pure trapper, shes a great character and all I just want something to do while traps rape everything :D

anyway, I was wondering how viable a hybrid WW/trapper would be in PvM. Seems like a really fun build, and since I mainly play PvM I was wondering if makeing a hybrid would be worthwhile.

edit: Also, this is sorta noobish, but im not familiar with what treachery is, is it a runeword? I don't seem to be able to find it on arreat summit.

Treachery is a 1.11 runeword in a 3s armor.

There are three things that work very well with trapping. The first is using Fireblast on a pure trapper. Another thing to throw is Blade Fury. The same mods that work best with Blade Fury transfer to kicks, so Dragon Talon is your 3rd option. WW is not something I could recommend in good conscience.

yeah, my current trapper is a LS/Fire blast build, she pretty much owns everything in the game, zero problems no questions asked.

Assuming you have high enough strenght, dragon talon is a viable option for additionnal damage. I tend to go more MA than traps on my hybrid so I choose TS/Dtail along with death sentry for backup.

You can always pump out venom and use blade fury instead, 20 points into venom with a good weapon and CB works wonders.
