Clearing sockets

Is there a way to clear sockets if you don't like the result?

Hel rune + TP scroll + transmute = clean sockets

Just remember whatever was put into those sockets are destroyed also. So you won't get the runes/jewels/gems back if you do unsocket it.

I traded a titans for boneflame... the guy I traded with had socketed a cham in the shield. I felt bad when I blew it up but resist all is more important than "cant be frozen" mod.

You probably coulda traded it for a plain boneflame & other items instead of just losing the cham rune :(.
