My brother and I are going to play together and are wondering what the best 2 person team would be? I know that there will alot of opinions on this.

Please take these under consideration before answering:

1. We're going to play untwinked. We'll do some mf'ing, but not a lot, so we won't have a lot of high end gear.

2. We're always going to play together on bnet so the ability to solo hell players8 is not needed.

So basically I'm looking for 2 builds that may not be that strong apart, but compliment each other the best.

Thanks

Sorc+Avenger pally does wonders too. Any sorc would just love conviction aura to help, and the pally makes a good tank too.

OK Barb and Sorc. Which builds and why?

I would think a cold sorc and a necro with high Lower Resist would pwn, using either bone walls or skellies for crowd control.

I like the Avenger/Melee Enchantress combo. Both make the other more powerful, and neither one steals the show.

arw you going to be doing ubers because if you are zmiter and barb or zmiter and necro are good

For everything but Ubers I agree. Barb gives Battle Command, Battle Order and Shout and Sorc increases speed, since she can tele to every location fast and open a TP there, so that both can do the killing. Since both of you are most likely on low budget, my choice would be Meteorb Sorc and Whirlwind Barb.

I really don't understand the synergy of the Barb / Sorc combo. Avenger / Sorc combo has far greater synergy. I also prefer the Zmiter / Summoner combo proposed by Conor. When playing untwinked, you can't beat the benefits granted by a pally aura. Also, make sure you use different act 2 NM mercs so you can get might and holy freeze benefit.
