most effective pure kicker

i believe that the most effective pure kicker must concentrate on poison and open wounds... open wounds for fast casters, and poison for nearly everyone, since most people will have low poison resists on nm and hell in particular... esp once they die and the anya bug kicks in

now lets look at equipment..
best way of getting poison damage? well longwood had his char setup for this, but he no longer posts here...
he used deathsweb (the wand with the - enemy poison resist), bramble, trang gloves, andariel visage and lots of poison facets... this way he could reduce the enemys poison resist to a negative, and his poison damage was HUGE

now what about skills...

is it a good idea to max out ur kick? cus that way u got maximum damage and AR, but u end up kicking 6 times... i know that the most effective way is 3 or 4

and if u dont max ur kicks, what do u spend ur points on?

first off, there are a lot of good res poison items out there, especially on melee players, secondly, open wounds isnt that great on kicker as you would think, i have around 40 ow on my kicker, not a big deal, now crushing blow, i have 85, and that **** is ownage, i do 2400 dtalon w/o venom, and 4k with df w/o venom. when you add in crushing blow, it deals massive damage, i kill hammerdins and smiters with my kicker, tho it is very hard, i still do, takes lots of hit and run stunlock.

Ive been able to do about 6-700 life in a single kick in pvp. I would go with pure damage set up personally. Fort, Phoenix, Lastwish, or perhaps kingslayer, with guills and or gores u can reach 100 cb with good open wounds, especially with dracs on.

Considering using a doom myself, i think that holy freeze might be sweet for non casters.

p.s i have 5 kick dt, few levels short of 6, and i like that, because with phoenix and torch i have 65 chance to cast firestorm, and that **** gets really annoying, so with the amount of time it takes to do 6 kicks the skill cool down will be gone and it wont delay my kicking

Phoenix and Torch firestorm are different and so dont stack...

And in pvp anything above 4 kicks will leave you a little over-exposed in many situations.

actually crushing blow sucks in pvp... even if it triggers, ur doing less damage than from a normal kick

venom is extremely effective... few people have maxed/stacked resistst, cus how many people use poison in melee?

Try an fort/lacerator kicker, those are so much sexier than asns that purely rely on ow/venom, with this build you actually do decent phys, although it is not competetive vs the best
