LLD Smiter

What type of smiter should I build? I was thinking of building a smiter... because all there is are charges.

I was thinking of maybe something like this:

For a level 12ish smiter
Bloodcrescent Scimitar --- socketed with nothing?
twitch --- for block? or 4 socket ancient armor --- ed/-req jewels?
Monks???(level 15 req?) spiked shield of deflecting --- socketed with ed jewel(s)?
angelic rings and ammies
deaths belt and gloves
cow king boots for dex
3 socket crown --- ed jewels
charms: +stats, +life--- strength adds damage to smite so... +strength and +life charms?

For a level 25ish smiter
"Black" scimitar
4 socket ornate plate --- ed/-req jewels --- or upgraded twitch? whats required level for it?
3 socket grand crown --- ed/-req jewels
"Rhyme" barb shield??
bladebuckle
bloodfists
goblin toe
charms: +stats, +life


I was also wondering about one thing. Is a 444ish defense Ornate plate 3 sockets +100 life good/worth anything? Level req 37.

The only thing wrong with a HC LLD smiter is that no one will stick around long enough for you to kill them. You might flux people, but you won't get any ears.

I would use Crushflange for a wep and rubies in the armor. Good luck.

LLD Smiters suck, period. They're completely useless below Holy Shield lvl (24) and even at lvl 30 when they start to gain some effectiveness they still never get any ears. Make a Kicker instead.
