bramble vs 4 sockt armor

im new to this forum.

ok im geting my self av psn nec.
and i want bramble, and for that i need sur+ohm, and thouse are not cheap.

the question:

if i have bad luck, get a +25% bramble :sad2:

or i can get my self a 4 sockt armor with 4x 5-5 psn jewels "20-20" beter AND cheaper than a +25% bramble ? with the 4 sockt i know what i get for my cash.

you always say, that its the -res thats inportant, breake the imunes.
and no dont tell me to get myself an enigma, dont want one :azn:

so which is the best ?

I'd say go with Bramble. Yeah you might get 25% but you might also get 50%. There's a lot of other bonuses like the massive FHR, Resists and a nifty Thorns Aura. Also +PD% is a lot more important than -Enemy PDR% in my opinion. If you're using LR, DWeb, Trangs Wing and facets, most non-immunes will already be at the -100% cap. So Average Bramble +37 > 20/-20

That's also why I socketed with a 5/3 and 5/4 jewels instead of paying more for 5/5.

- enemy psn resistance is WAY better than + psn damage. if you socket the armor with 4 5-5 facets u will be doing more damage than a 50 bramble, but u will also lose a lot of nice mods. i personally use enigma for my psnmancer.

Overkill isn't wrong :azn:

Anyway, the -res can not break immunities, they can only break from Lower Resist, Conviction aura, Decrep/AmpDmg (phys. resists).
So using -res gear will not help you break immunes, but only help you to deal with them after your Lower Resist has done the 'dirty work'.
Still, I'd vote for bramble for the same reasons as anonymite.

If you play on EU Ladder I think 5/-5 poison facets are not even that expensive, I think um or mal depending on die/lvl why don't you make an armor consisting of elcheapo facets like 4/-4 and see how it works for you, if you think you rather have fhr/resists/thorns from bramble make that and if you don't want the extra goodies make the 20/-20

personally i'd go for a bramble. if you got a lowly <30% one, you can trade it to fishy necros or summoner-dr00ds.
