Im new to this site, and i would like to know are chargers decent in low level dueling? i am new to the game aswell so i dont really know anythin about it, so if anyone would like to help me, that would be great :thumbsup:

Equipped with the right gear, yes; they are.

do you know what kind of gear it would use ?
Im not an expert on chargers. But here we go:
45max helmet
60 max armor (or a nice rare one with fhr,life,res 2 sockets, -req)
Deaths gloves (or bloodfist i guess)
Deaths belt
Cowkings boots
Angelic ring
Angelic ring
Angelic amu
Then for the weapon either an honor eth/non eth naga and a nice 65ed/121ar 60max pally shield. Or eth/non eth bonesnap.
Thats from the top of my head. Some others may have some different points of view. I think the level could be 24.
Stats: str enough to wear gear, dex for gear and max block if you have a shield. Rest in vita.
No idea on skills. Only charge and might or conc. Or something

6 Sock eth Lance with 6 x 15 maxers is my charger weapon of choice for LLD.
And I know people will say its crap, but i find the range invaluable against GOOD casters.

Ethereal upgraded bonesnap is the absolute best charger weapon you can get.
Perfect ones have near 450 max damage.
IMO, chargers are the only working Low Level Duelers, besides ES fireball sorcs that use duped charms and very good shape druids.

Erm, wrong on both counts.
I'll take a superior Eth honor lance or a superior Eth insight bec de corbin/partizan for a level 30 charger over an eth upped bonesnap, and I'd take a superior eth honor naga+well jeweled 65%ED//AR crown shield over either one. (I say level 30 because thats the level req on an upped bonesnap)
And chargers are FAR from the only working low level duelers, jabbers/zealots should both dominate chargers in at least 3/4ths of their duels, kickers are a cheap anti-charger character when played correctly, and level 29 casters (hammerdins, bone necros especially, etc) are very viable as well, not to mention CS zons. Thats not including builds into the 30's, because I know people on the softcore realms dont include them as LLD (thats not a jab at not including them, I'd rather not get into that silly little debate again, its just a different playstyle...)
That said, if you were to go into the 30's a well build fury druid will dominate any charger you can put together under 40, and I speak from experience on that. I just made a very nice level 37 druid, and I would like to see any charger beat a build with 3k life, which has 3.8k listed fury damage, and 15% deadly strike. It's not going to happen.
In addition, 30's casters who know what they're doing will wreck a charger in most matchups, well built WW barbs should do the same. Chargers are a viable LLD build, but there are many, many others as well.

Yeah, I have good luck with an insight partizan. The ar bonus and the crit + med is sweet for a charger with maybe 75 mana. Kickers are easy...watch for the flight and charge = bam instagib.

What a waste of perfectly good carnage jewels... 20%ed jewels would net you much more damage in that stick.

In old age and tiredness i seemed to replace 20/15's with just plain 15 maxers :cry:

I was trying to keep it mostly under 30, to avoid the whole "30+ is not lld" fiasco. But yeah, good call. :smiley:

im just lookin to go to whatever level would be best, i dont know what level is good for lld, its just somethin i wanted to do O_o
try these levels: 12 (just for kicking butt at lowest possible level for charge), 15 (This is selected fairly often), 18 (this is one of the most common levels to be duelling at especially palas), 21 (this level cos the 10 max ar gcs or 3 max scs which saves a lot of ur cash cos 15 life scs can be expensive), 29 (possibly THE most common under 30 duelling level)
Although this is europe, name your level which you intend to use and some1 should be able to sort you out (including me if i see what level u want), i got a lvl 9 barb bashing noobz to death and making a 49 dueller (which are also pretty common)

I made this sweet 1.5k dmg lvl 30 blizz sorc with a lvl 1 added FO on switch for pubby's :D
I can give you good advice if you pick a level.
The most popular levels for charge are 15 and 30 for USEast.
If you're on West I would only go to 27, which is the level chargers are restricted to on LLD101. West seems to follow LLD101's rules much more strictly than East - we let every class go to 30, and we let sorcs tele and don't care about dupes.
Like mclarke said, 21 and 18 are also good levels to choose.

well i got a bonesnap ready, i wanted to be atleast that high to use it for charge the rest i dont know lol
