Whats some good chat channels with a decent amout of people in them? I am tired of the same ol people in cof

You know I was thinking of this same exact thing, and the idea came to me of making a diabloii.net channel. Something like, op dnet or something like that. That way anyone on USEast thats on this forum can easily get together and play, share ideas, mf, whatever. If anyone wants to throw their opinions about this please, feel free.

The "official" channel on USEast is Op Diabloii.Net

It used to be op diinet, but CrazyPayne didn't have the account, so they went and made that one with an actual Op...although, I don't know if it's used for anything besides deterring idiots.

There used to be about 6-7 dedicated classic channels on each realm. You were immediately sent into these channels upon char selection. 1.10 ended that, grrr.

There aren't any general channels on USWest as far as I'm aware of. There are a few channels for 'elite' players who do cs runs and rush their friends, pretty much lvl 80+ sora cs crowds top heavy with sorcies and pallys and enjoy pk'ing for gold any 'lesser' games that dare show up on the list, although not all of them are jerks. I won't list them out of principle. Once, shortly after 1.10 came out some guy ran around to all the games yelling "Come to channel cs runs, channel: cs runs" and people did indeed go there for a few days. But he didn't persist, and it takes persistence.

One person can make a difference. THIS MEANS YOU. I've been able to singlehandedly turn about half the chaos games on the ladder partition of USWest softcore into walks. These don't exist on the other realms, I've been told. The walk is usually for lvl 60-90 players who don't care for the sora-style run. It starts from the river waypt thru diablo, and is seal-pop sensitive. It can take many months of doing something ur way until it can survive without ur constant input.

BTW, what is the purpose of the op? What does it mean? It seems to be dedicated in some way, I know many of the clan channels and private channels use that designation.

Anyone interested in having a channel for all classic players on the forum?, i could host it, i gotta chanbot with a few good scripts and what not and it'd be a nice channel. good idea or not?

Is there any classsic trade channel on Europe that people know of? I only know op d2c-cs there..

"op hc-1" if you play hardcore on europe - but i also don't know of any other classic (softcore) channels on europe.

If I am on I hang in my channel op sharmuck and will have one account logged on in the trading channel so people will know I am on. I stay away from the other channels because I've grown sick of a lot of the "kids" over the years. I also think it would be nice to have a new channel someone could leave a bot in or something but I'm not too sure the community on west is large enough anymore.
