Heh..
battle.net doesn't accept screenshots as they can be easily photoshopped or otherwise altered.

In-game, press Printscreen - it saves the s/s in your diablo ii folder
Default location is c:\program files\diablo ii\
Might differ on yours.

its not hacking. Or 'hakin'.
Chances are you downloaded something, had an ez pass, or got yourself otherwise scammed. but 'hakin' it is not.

first of these ppl just are jerkin with you , they can't hack you
you probably downloaded some files or something with a keyloger
and finally you can use the print screen button on your keyboard and find the ss in your diablo2 folder.
Frankly i dont think ss of a game is any proof ...

Spybot S&D has never failed me.
You can also try Norton, Ad-Aware or simply do it manualy.

HijackThis if you know what you're doing.
Tee hee.

I'd like to know how we're to "report" someone if we can't send in a screenshot.
I'd also like to see a "photoshopped" screenshot of someone saying they'd hack you, or that they use maphack. It'd be so easy to see that it was a fake that I don't think they'd need to fret about people sending in manip'd shots.

On some, sure - but those wouldn't be the case either way - if they're obviously fakes, then blizz obviously wouldnt accept them. It's the ones you can't tell the difference of - apart from other Real screenies.

eh, it's kinda hard to explain in words, without being able to show you. hm. I could prolly put some together if I reinstalled - it's not really that hard - sort've like making a map with RM2K ~ where you pick and choose from different chipsets - altho not as basic :P

Now that i remember it, *and i may be mistaken* but wasn't it you who made that thread about.. 1-2 months ago? with the different screenshots to be used as templates? Empty WPs, Quest screens, and the like.
Surely you don't need to ask how easy it is =/

HijackThis is really good
Lightweight - and accurate. but ask an expert @ a spyware forum, if you don't know what you're doing - HT reveals everything, good and bad.

Yeh, but you could never make something convincing with those - especially a message log.

The only way I can see someone faking a maphack confession is on open - but then, you can't see the game name or the person's account.

If you've got the time, it'd be interesting to see a convincing one.
You mean that you've got PSDs with a different element (IE, 'character name' text field, the semi-transparent black bars, etc.) on seperate layers, whereas you can move them around and all that?
I've seen that done with Runescape screenshots, but I'm suspecting that those would be much easier to fake - a solid background in the message area, for one thing.

Blizz doesn't have the time to go through all the screenshots to decide if they're fake or not. They'd rather not do anything about it at all. ^ ^
