MF scale question

This must have been asked thousand time but i did not find any related topic.

I wonder, is there a difference between hunting at 400% mf then at 450% mf ?

I found a chart that show improvement in Mf % only for round numbers (100%, 200%, 300% and up).

So if the char is at 440% mf and you add a 35% gheed, you're still in the 4XX. If there's a improvement anyway, then alright. But if it only affect your luck when you pass from, for example, 4xx to 5xx, that space could be use for a skill charm instead ! You know what i mean :)
