i dueled yesterday with a vt and he cried all day about my abs coz his foh did only 200 dmg i showed him i use res stack and tgod but he cried and didnt belived me why all rich bastard belog to clans and they think if somebody own them he do it with bm way even tho i owned alot 1v3 clan teams and they cried about abs lol i dont even have any abs only hotspurs and ort kiras
its so ****ing frustating when they never addmit that they got owned, they call friend or spam **** ehh sry for ****ty post but i was so fu.... pissed of that situation

That's just how people act online. They have a disguise, so they can act like morons. As for why, no one really knows why, maybe they just need an excuse to dying.
Also, most people do whine about absorb when they do not kill you in 1-3 hits. That's funny IMO. Cannot count the amount of lightning sorcs and javazons who cried about abs when they got some low dmg rolls and I beat them.
Also, it's pretty funny when people do not really even know how absorb works. If someone would go all-out on absorbing, he could stand there still and eat all of the elemental damages, without losing more than a couple hundred hp. So I find it ridiculous that a Blizz sorc who kills me in like 5-6 hits cried about absorb when I need a ton of whirls to kill her.
Also, another point. Why everyone who's in a clan never duels you 1v1? All of them just duel like, 2-5v1. It's so funny. Once I actually dueled 5v1 versus 5 lowish hammerdin (like lvl 50-70), beat them 3-1, they said that I sucked when I died, even though they kept using medi and running to akara. Well, I ended up getting like 1.5 millions of gold in that game, so cannot complain.

ppl really cry just because them gotten owned shows them how wrong they were by thinking they are gods in d2.
one killing them over and over and that destroys their ego, because they can't accept the fact that they suck....then the excuses start fly :lag , you juvied, you sorb,you bm blah blah blah
I dueled this one assasin, with my BvC, with glitched merc and i killed him pretty easy ,he kept on saying i sorb untill i showed him i use tgods only to which he responded "then how come you dont die to my 11k (omg crazy high dmg) traps?:scratch:"
If i lose to someone constantly i accep it and work to get better to beat them next time that is all , but if some noob starts flaming just because he sucks, but thinks he is so awesome you just nk them all thay long and then go gamble the gold he he

what you should really complain about is the amount of people that have "pwn", "gosu" and "cry" in their name or some such wanabee l337 thing who are absolutely pathetic at duelling.

I think most clans consists from kids, who panicaly fear be "owned" in some kind of addictive video-game.
get used to it as ppl said most ppl always cry if they cannot beat u or kill u in 2 hits.
I mean i have been in so many 2-5 v 1 situations its a joke. Like u see a foh pala + trapper in a team and they cry abs even with the res shield for some reason they expect u not to use a res shield cuz alot of idiots think this is BM, but yet its ok for them to fight u 2 v 1:rolleyes:
I hate when blizz sorcs complain about abs cuz, stacked res>Abs. Wearing 2 abs simply help u survive a few more hits. Again this is a char that complains alot about abs.
Yeah ive done this a few times beat a few clan ppl in a team where i beat the team of like 3 or 4 chars out of which either run to town when they have been hit or attempt to heal.
When i see duels like this i simply kill them if i can and start dishing out nks and stack my gold then usally leave a message like "ez" then move on to the next duel room :grin:

Hardly.
I don't cry over games. Unless you're one of the top duelers on east, somehow in disguise, I doubt very much you've ever even come close - much less nking me. Sorb is sorb, stack is stack - I'll Make a char that's unsorbable and unstackable if I don't like that. But to complain and whine over something like this?

Besides, to label all clans as such is rather ignorant of you. Clans are a way of grouping together to play with your friends - from RL or from Online. The dueling, and all that stuff is secondary. Or ought to be - don't blame Everyone who's clanned, just because you dislike other clans. But then again, i'm sure if I met someone this unfathomably stubborn in their ways online - who immediately Tears'd it up because I have a clan Tag (d1 btw) I'd prolly go out of my way to make your gaming time with me miserable.

No worries, I was just curious. Most people who claim English as a primary don't even speak it well enough for me to understand most of the time.
moonlike dont even speak with them. specialy the "elite" ones.
do you remember my sorc vintersol? she was placed on second place at the dumbest nkers on europe^^ i was good in nking. i never have be in clan, and dont want to be, but anyway thinking of making good nk clan. only set items chars. foher gris and blizz tal and natalya traper. deadly ^^. set auras > all ^^

'Clans' are people who want to belong to a big, organized group.
They think that, since they have the big purple watter bottles and the Wind Druids, they won't lose at all.
When someone with a pinch of skill comes in, they try to team them - and when it doesn't work, it's time to whine.

I've been trying for quite some time now (20 secs) but i still can't figure out what you mean by "big purple water bottles" :tongue:

Big=big size
Purple= Rejuvenation potion color
Water= Usually the form potions are taken in
bottles=usually things made out of glass and they contain liquid
With this said, I can draw a very scientifical line, that "big purple water bottles", means Full Rejuvenation Potions, or Akara-Potions (wtfbbq :smiley:).
Now am I not great for having so much brain to come up with such a simple answer to such a complicated thing. :smiley:
Lol yea I hate clans that just whine and complain that you hack. I sometimes would take on 2-5 vs 1 and if I died they would say "Haha man u suck" when they have to team me to kill a lvl 80 sin. Lol and i like the big purple water bottles.
I dont like those kinds of duels either. With teaming up and that kind of stuff. There is still one more thing i hate even more. No, its not the noob this noob that. Its "cry". Its even more wrongly used than noob. I say something with my lvl49 barb to a higher sorc that teles, "I cant catch you cos you tele too much, so theres no point in dueling" at which point the sorc says "cry". Im not frikkin crying about anything! Just stating my opinion about the situation. And when i explain that i get another "cry" in my face. :rolleyes: You can shout noob, n4b, boon whatever at me, i dont care. But as soon as someone says cry to some stupid situation where "cry" just dont simply fit in. It gets to me...
Cant think of more examples than this, but it bugs the hell out of me.
Btw. Im immune to cry comments in this thread. :laugh:

Yes, cry is one of those strange bits of Diablo 2 language that's become popular. It's like Noob, or Nub, or any of the variations. Noobs is applied to people who certainly aren't new at the game as it implies, it's just that it has a conitation of "bad" or "weak", so people use it in place of that. A Noob item isn't a new player after all, but a weak or crappy item. Cry is like that, its applied to peopl complaining, or spamming, or whatever. They don't actually think your crying at your computer...of course the people who are saying cry have generally adopted it because it does get under people's skin. Most pkers act in games like they are four years old and have a vocabulary of about 6 words. Cry, Kid, Noob, eZ, Pwnd, Remake. Its just a psycological tactic. Of course they aren't four, theyre just trying to make you as frustrated as possible.
As for clans, yes, some of them play in a way that is targeted to make people feel bad. That's really the definition of BM as far as I'm concerned, not all this "you pot," "you run," "you use tap," nonsense that goes around so much these days. However, there are clans who are very nice and full of fun players, so don't generalize.
Also, its a trend to note that there are about a thousand people on bnet and forums everywhere who talk about owning such and such clan 4v1 etc...Not only is this loosly defined, but most of these people can't actually preform when the situation comes up to do it "again." It's very hard to beat an orgnized team with complementary characters, even if a player is very good. Talking about beating clans is probobly the number three form of bull people talk in d2, after items and their stats...

i admitt beating even 2 good duelers is sometimes impossible but thats why i use bm tactic (abs etc) to make it doable but funny is thing they will cry about u absorbing event they are 3v1 .

Well, more power to yah. Over here on US West ladder none of the self respecting BM pker clans would use a character that can be negated. Druid, Hammerdin, Zon, Necro, occationally smiter, Hammerdin, Hammerdin, and oh, occationally a Hammerdin. Only consistant clan pk char thats absorbable I see is the FC zon.
i think it all depends, some teams in a 2v 1 or more are just impossible to beat but other teams u can stand a good chance.
I for one always liek to give it a shoot on taking on a team cuz i find it fun keeps u alert more and some duelers in teams are organised well and to kill a few of these guys does feel good.
Its not so good though if u loose and they start nking you :grin: and yes if im in a situation where its 3 v 1 i break the abs out if needed.
Myself, if I ever duel 1v2 or something like that, I usually only duel versus teams I have advantages over, or teams that are not well organized (like 2-3 random pub people in a team). As for good teams, they're usually pretty impossible to beat totally, but usually I'm able to take down at least 1 from each team. But then there are those well-organized teams, which have characters that make it impossible for me to beat them (trapper+V/T for example), since one of the team members forces me to change gear, so that the other one gets a good advantage, such as if I switch to fortitude in a team with a sorc and a smiter, the sorc can eat me alive due to no tele. But I rarely make such bad judgements to change gear to something like that.
Trappers all cry for my FoH pally...
Got Guard Angel, TG and dual Wisps, sometimes Blackthorn too. I can tank 7 Trappers at a time (tested it :grin: ). In pub duels they just cry like wtf man nub get off ur ****ing wisps and tg u nub nub nuuuuuuub :grin:

Now what the hell does this have to do with _clans_ crying? Also, I think you'd deserve an asswhooping for using all that lightning negating gear, even if it is only for fun, since it's plain stupid. Not that I'd care about trappers, all they can do is whine anyways. I cannot count the number of times when a trapper has whined about widowmaker and shouted out "owned ez" about 100 times after some other dude killing me and the trapper gets a good chance to guard my corpse.

On EUSCNL, where Bugged Tal Armor exists, smiter is the most common townguarding build. After that I'd say sorcs, but nothing guards as much as smiters. As for trappers, most of the town guarding ones are total morons and do not know how to play, and thus die. The only really good trappers are dead-offensive. As for Auradins, there aren't many of those on EUSCNL, and if there are, they are easily negated with Kiras+nokozan+triple resi boots.

Same as Tal Rasha's armor+all res 40+20% DR and +2 all skills, something else maybe, google for Btals.

I do not see what's fun in being able to beat something by simply holding down your mouse buttons. Personally I think that what makes PvP worth it is the fact that it requires skill. This is also why I hate skilless duelers, such as townguarding trappers.
And no, not all trappers threaten people with [yaddanoobclanyadda] things. I've never gotten threatened like that, but I guess it's because they have no chance to beat a team I can make up in a few minutes.
nothing more annoys me than a townguard smiter i been noob killed like this sever times, where i came out of town to bo or to duel then ur hit with smite, then for the noob to say "owned" or "ez" also trappers are good town guards as well espeically for nks.

only the other day in a 2 v 1 with my mage2 partied clan fb sorcs complained about the use of hotspurs, i mean i was using no dwarf nothing but only res and i still heard noob chants.
I mean with some ppl no matter what u do u cant stop ppl complain ppl are never happy unless the expect u to stand there and let them kill u, or kill u in one hit.
