Quick werebear question

I am making a PVM Mauler and was woundering if an ethereal edge axe would be a viable weapon for one.

like valvolux said before, any setup can viable really, just have to "use your head a little." :smiley:

instead of thinking of items as just what's good and what's not, people should see what they need. all these posts about viable items is honestly ridiculous. takes a little calculating and deciding on budget and etc., people take too advantage of these forum boards imo. (STOP BEING LAZY, AND HASSLING OTHER PEOPLE ABOUT STUFF YOU CAN FIND OUT ON YOUR OWN!)

Granted Zabo made this as a pvp guide overall...but skill wise and even equipment wise...it can be used as a pvm build as well. Just use some common sense in choice of weapons if someone wants to go with a 2-handed weapon instead.

The most obvious choices for 2-handed weapons would be a BotD gpa...tombreaver (and it doesn't have to be a eth version if going to be used for pvm)...IK maul...ribcracker just to name a few.

Of the equipment listed suggested by zabo...the toughest thing to get would be the ias/ed jewels suggested for the griz weapon (that is if you was going to be doing any pvp with it...and making it like Zabo did)...because it seems alot of people are able to get fortitude and the other equipment easy enough.

I made my bear named: KissMyBearCrack on east ladder and followed Zabo's suggestions for equipment and skills...and have been doing pretty good with it though I'm only level 75 so far...but have been leveling my waheed norm defense merc before going to hell.

Possibly, if you 'Shael' your Ethereal Edge and get 35% more ias then you'll be attacking at 8fpa. As ppl have said tho it's not the greatest weapon but it could make an okay starting point for a bear.

Its defenitly not the best weapon! but its not the worst either.

What realm do u play on? if you are on europe, i might have some items for you if you like??

Thanks for the info and for the non-personal attacks. I'm on east non-ladder, but thanks Summerfun for the offer.
I don't have a huge budget for equiptment, but I am loosely going by Zabo's PVP Kodiak guide. I'll just have to do my own looking and see what I come up with and post for all to mock or prase when he is done.
