Best Merc for PVP?

I am making a PVP Hammerdin and wondering what merc i should hire.

You shouldn't, IMO. They die quite frequently and are a pain to keep hiring/keeping out of the line of fire, not to mention a good deal of people will complain if you use one. If you just have all that gold burning a hole in your pocket and you simply must hire a merc, I would go for an act 1 merc, due to the fact that they are least likely to die and can pack some damage. I strongly suggest not getting an act 2 or 5 merc, as they just LOVE to run straight into attacks.

only instances in pvp where a merc would be really helpful is using conviction with a lite sorc or ive seen zons using WF giving their a1 merc a faith to hit the last ias bp.
other than that, specially on hammerdin, complete pain in the *** lol

alot of ias and she will shoot when you land a tele.

be prepaired to ressurect her alot though..

If your mana is getting drained, chances are your merc will be long dead.

i've seen hammerdins use glitch merc in duels
using a merc in duels is considered bm
I personaly dont care and my first thing to do is just take out the merc first ...

if you want to really anoy everyone use an act1 merc and stick as much slow gear on her as possible.

So they shoot any time you teleport and land? If you got a 200fcr sorc, will it shoot like crazy then? :shocked:

i dont really agree with merc usage as i feel its a sign of weakness but for a hammerdin most i see use a insight merc from act 2 usally a defensive or use a weapon like botd etc for high dmg merc setup.

so i guess Act 1 merc is best for PvP, but Act 2 merc is best for PvM.
