i was wondering if anyone has ever found a problem with the stickied speed calculator. i just started a werewolf (playing from scratch on purpose with someone else) and was lucky enough to find a chieftan axe. i had been using a steel battle axe which was hitting 10 frames with feral rage.

steel is 25% ias
chieftan is 20% ias
same base item

i lost a frame with the chieftan, but then i gambled some 10% ias gloves to make up the speed. they now swing the same. i can hear the difference with and without the gloves using the chieftan.

but when i enter level 5 werewolf, a -10 base speed (negative of real value), 20% weapon ias, and 10% off weapon, the calc reports 11 frames, not 10. the new setup is clearly the same speed as the steel axe but the calc reports otherwise.

i care only because in the long term if i have to make something like obedience or some other low end runeword i need to know if its worth going for a faster base, thresher, which would produce a 7 frame fury, which i can deal with for from-scratch play. likewise i would want to know how much ias id need on common elite uniques like eth edge, reapers, and bonehew in order to reach a decent fury.

can i trust the calc? things like fury are really hard to "ear test" which is normally how i physically test frames (counting swings in 15 seconds). only the initial fury swing can be tested so throughly. in use, its harder to find the frames of the subsequent hits.

I think thedragoon has acknowledged that the frames for feral rage might be slightly out. All the rest are good as far as I know.
