bvb range

Is range really that important in bvb? Specifically between a naga and a bhammer, does the 3 to 1 range difference make up for the fact that the avg dmg of the bhammer is 50% more than the avg of the naga?

If played properly, then yes, the range more than makes up for the lower damage. If not, then it wont help much at all.
