Just as the topic says.

In the game description, it says it lowers all, including magic resist. Is this true? I was wondering if it would be useful to put points in it for a bonemancer...

It lowers fire/cold/lightening/poison resists by X%. The lowest a monster's resist can be is -100% (lower resist can contribute up to 67%). It does not effect physical or magical damage in 1.1X.

In 1.09 LR lowered magic resistance (or was it 1.08). Arreat Summit has never updated this information.

" The lowest a monster's resist can be is -100% "

but lower rest can only contribute -67% of that -100%..you will need conviction to bring down res even more (for fire/cold/light)

or facets and items like dweb (that have -40% to -50% lower psn res)

It most certainly can, with an enourmous investment of skillpoints and gigantic amounts of +skills you can go all the way to -71%.

If you want to persue this insanity here is how it breacks down:
ERL = 25 + int[(70 - 25)*int[110*Slvl/(Slvl + 6)]/100]
so
67% - Slvl 36
68% - Slvl 42
69% - Slvl 50
70% - Slvl 60
71% - Slvl 89

So you be the judge of how much you want it to be...and if you get to 71% let me know...
