When I got the white runeword (Dol Io) I thought getting the runes were the hard part. Now I'm looking for a @#$%^& nonmagical +3 bonespear wand to socket my runes. I was told that a vendor sells them in act 2 normal, but no matter hoiw many times I reroll his inventory I don't get it... or any other 18 lvl +3 wand for that matter, so I'm starting to think that it might be that my level is not enough. I'm lvl 65 (I'm approaching the end of nightmare), any suggestions?

i saw +2 spear non magic prior to lvl 30 so i think you just need to be patient.

do vendors even sell non-magical items? I don't recall ever seeing any...

I found my wand for White laying on the ground from some monster ;-)

Yes they do...and it takes patience to find a +3 wand...even with 2nd mods on it. Took me well over a hour to finally find a +3 spear +2 spirit wand.

You just need to be at act 2 norm, and I think the required lvl for it to spawn is slow. Item shopping is just plain annoying. It took me over 1 hour to shop for a +3 bow/+20 IAS gloves the other day. By the way, only look at wands that can get 2 sockets by Larzuk. It's a waste of time to even get your mouse over the others.

I used my level 75 bear for my shopping at that time because I had him loaded up with gold...what's VTES?
