Hello. Long time listener, first time poster... anyhow, why are people always looking for ethreal items? Don't they just wear out?
Hello. Long time listener, first time poster... anyhow, why are people always looking for ethreal items? Don't they just wear out?
Some runewords have indestructible mod (BOTD), some uniques have repair mod (Hone Sundan) and they don't loose durability when used on mercs.
Also Zod can give indestructible mod.

50% more damage (weapons) and 50% more defence (armor). If a socket recipe is used on eth. armor, the bonus is applied twice (bug in 1.11). Slightly lower stats requirements.

Huh. I never noticed. I guess I shoulda kept that eth Azurewrath then. I tossed it without looking back...

Just to expand on what superdave implied, Azurewrath cannot spawn ethereal since it's not only in a phase blade, but it also has the indestructible modifier. In both cases, this will always prevent the Azurewrath from spawning as unique.
Perhaps the guy is playing an older patch? If he's LOD without patching, eth Azurewraths would be all over his games.
