View Full Version : What points after skeletons and ce?
I have now 1 points in all curses, one point in all summoning skills except fire golem and 20 in raise skeletons and 20 in skeleton mastery. I also have 10 in corpse explosion, and also 1 point in bone spear and 1 in bone armor (dont ask me why =s). Im now lvl 66 with some skill quests left and 5 skill points left atm. What should i put in? since im hc im thinking of putting the rest in bone wall/bone prison to get a better bone armor, but will it be worth it? i also thought about maxing bone spirit and rest in bone wall, but will bopne spirit do enough dmg to make any different? or should i put points in golems/golem mastery???

it does seem you have wasted a skill in iron golem, clay does the job fine. Your main curses as a summon nec should be amp/decripify, leave the rest alone, more wasted points im affraid.
ok so that was the bad news this is the good news... you could pump ce even more increasing its effective explosion radius. you could invest the rest into spear+synergies which would also help your bone armour.
You could invest the rest in nova + synergies, handy to stop regen rates especially in hell and has a good area of effect.
imo probably max spear and rest into bone wall/prison. overall it helps you armour alot and gives you a fairly good pearcing attack to aid your army while also being able to protect yourself with fairly strong bone walls.

y i have to go with lld here, was gonna say exactly the same :D. 1 point in psn nova, rest in bone synergies, or mayb some mages for bigger army. Btw the point in iron golem isnt wasted, its needed to get to revive, wich deserves its one point
imo probably max spear and rest into bone wall/prison. overall it helps you armour alot and gives you a fairly good pearcing attack to aid your army while also being able to protect yourself with fairly strong bone walls.
is bone spear better than bone spirit?
and btw for physical immunes where i rely on my merc/mages and fire golem lower resist can be handy

they're both decent....but I'd stay away from bone spells if your a summoner.
The ONLY skill you should put points into on the bone tree is CE (minus the teeth prereq)
I would max out Mages, and stick a point into Revives.
After that you can put a few more points into summon resist (not too many, cuz with +skills, you should be set since that skill has diminishing returns)

but spirit is more ideal for bosses....so they're both decent ;-)

u'll be fighting groups of monsters more then bosses ;) and you wont notice the difference vs bosses trust me on that 1 lol, becuase its not fully synergized it doesnt even dent the bosses, your army is gunna have to do the work there :D

which is why you don't try to be a summoner and a boner at the same time....one or the other and you'll be fine

some points in mages and a few in revive. they are pretty useful
is it a good idea to put some points in bone wall and bone prison? are these skills useful in anyway? and if they are, which level is required to give them enough life to be useful?

the thing about a summoner is that you'll have so many points left over once you max skellies and skelly mastery that you can customize your build.
Pretty much anything you do can work...with the exception of trying to use the bone attack spells as killers....you won't get the synergies high enough to make it worth while
I would max mages
max CE
stick a point in bone armor, and the rest in bonewall or bone prison

im also curious, does the charge synergy bug still work on marrowalk? or has it been fixed?

ditto on the avoiding the bone skills (my bone/summoner aka neutered bone/summoner lol) had fairly weak bone skills when not fully synergized....
go pure summoner with mages and a pt into revive...you'll have lots of friends after that =P..well lots of skinny friends :wink3:
