Are there trends that differ in each of the realms in terms of favorite player types, items, et cetera?

I've heard, for example, that US East has more dupes than anywhere else, so everyone uses runewords and high runes aren't worth that much. I think the modern-day internet quality, however, makes it easy for me to play on any of US East/West/Europe, and maybe even Asia. . .

USeast seems to have a lot more lag than USwest.

I've thought hard about starting over there or maybe just maintaining an alternate account there

well i know there are less interaction in asia server. i mean ppl are not so friendly there

go into diablo expecting a substantial percentage of complete arseholes among the strangers in public games on any realm you select.

I usually play SP but started a couple of chars on the Realms: one on Europe, one on West. Completely agree with the above statement, but I have had a couple of rushes from some nice bods there.

My biggest problems are:
1) being spammed with "TP, TP, TP" every five seconds
2) lag on West (I am on a 1mb connection in the UK)
3) no atma (too lazy for mules lol)

The Player Matchup forum is a good place to start though.

having looked at the europe price guide and comparing it to the east one things on east tend to be worth less.. (mainly due to dupes and bots) this can be good because of you can find someone willing to take large numbers of pgems for rerolling you can work up some value and get better equip easier because it costs much less
