My question is simple. Does bone armor from "bone" runeword get synergy bonuses from bone wall and bone prison? I assume yes but i just needed to be sure:wink3:

A couple of points:
These are the mods on the "Bone" runeword:
15% Chance to Cast Level 10 Bone Armor When Struck
15% Chance to Cast Level 10 Bone Spear on Striking
+2 to Necromancer Skill Levels
+150 to Mana
All Resistance +30
Damage Reduced By 7
The 15% Chance to Cast Level 10 Bone Armor when struck simply casts a level 10 Bone Armor when you get hit by a monster. This means that it overwrites whatever Bone Armor you have with a level 10 Bone Armor if it is cast, which happens 15% of the time when you get hit. If you don't have a bone armor active when you are struck and it activates, then it gives you one....based off the armor, not your skill. Hence the "Level 10" Bone Armor.
The +2 to Necromancer skills are probably the skill mod you are talking about and no, they do not effect the synergies. Bone Armor itself is increased by 2 as are Bone Wall and Bone Prison separately, however; the synergies that would add to Bone Armor only work when you actually place points in the skills Bone Wall and Bone Prison.

yup...no synergies from +skill items...the respective skills increase...but don't count as synergies...
only hardpoints into the skill will count as synergies (pts you actually put into the skill in the tree)
I was not speaking about +skills items, was i? I'll try to describe the situation more precisely. If i had 1pt in bone armor, 20pts in bone wall and 20pts in bone prison my slvl 1 bone armor absorbs quite nice amount of damage because it gets large bonus from synergies(bone wall + bone prison).
I was actually asking whether the 15% CTC slvl 10 bone armor (from "bone" runeword armor) also receives these bonuses from hard points in bone wall and bone prison. Simple as that...:laugh:

It does. Any skill receives synergies, but only hard points can give them.

Yeah.. I asked a similar question a while ago about Energy Shield. Apparently it IS affected by the hard points placed into synergies.

would the same thing apply for die facets? using a sorc as in the death attacks getting bonus from masterys and synergies? you could make like um uh...suicide bomber sorc lol

Yes it works, but as I found, not very good.

yea thats what i assumed, meteor is probably the most damaging spell and you dodge it 100% of the time and the others have measly dmg i guess, still fun when low lvl people kill your merc and in the process commit suicide.

It's kind of a moot point since you have to dump a point in bone armor to access the synergies anyway. Still, it's good to know.
