Decided to retire my BvA barb. After some successful 1v1's my friends and I decided to take on the team scene. In a team setting my BvA does not handle well because of slow teleport/lowlife/dependant on either using a caster setup or a melee setup, no all around setup was useful.

Remaking it now as a BvC with pure vita and the build is centered around Enigma now instead of armor switching w/ Fort. I know this will destroy my barb BvB wise but I'm hoping it will handle every class either better or just as well as my BvA/block/4.3klife.

Kira's Guardian or 1sock Ber CoA or
Enigma
Verdungo's or Tgods or Arachnids
Hotspur or Goreriders or Rare resist/fhr boots
Bloodfist or Trangs or Draculs
Highlords or Angelics or Nokozan or 20fcr ammy
Ravens or Wisps or Angelics
Grief Zerk + Beast Zerk
or for ES sorcs
Fury Zerk + Wizzy

Switch
Cta + Echoing Weapon

Prebuff:
delirium helm +5 bo
3 wc ammy
Treachery
Demonlimb
Widowmaker

I know its an exhaustive list of gear switching.. but I think i'll have enough room.

I think I can get enough str from gear/charms
29 from anni torch
60ish from enigma
35ish from beast
means that i'll to only put about 20ish points into str and 10ish into dex
by lvl 88 i'll have ~474Vita giving me 2085 Base life.

As I'm into the team setup idea I think i'm going to stack up on warcry gc's + life and fhr. In total from charms I should about get +180 life not including torch/anni.

If i'm using total anti caster setup that provides no +life etc I should have 2265 life pre-bo. After a lvl 52 bo I should get 6546 Life. . . as a minimum. Jumps up to 7.2k if I go verdungo's + angelics. . .

Just want to know what I can improve equipment wise, (i can't afford perfect gear but decent is possible) and if you can tell me from your own experience etc how effective I'll be w/ no block or 70/40 fcr or ~45 DR or little to no AR/dmg charms.

I am not a team player but ,you will be basically gettin all diferent kinds of elemental and phys dmg so best imo is to use max possible dr since you cant sorb all elements at once and remain effective offencively.
You need to use as much ow as possible which means gores+dracks,
dont use wc gc's it is enough to use standard 2 bo sticks /or what i think is better 2 dooms on switch. As for the charms go with max/ar/life sc's and 4 5 fhr/res sc's
ofcourse for some duels you will need to switch some gears like belt, boots, rings , but more on what you need to have in stash from someone who knows better
