Hi,
I have a problem... My Thorlak ,level 85 druid,is basicly a werewolf(maxed werewolf, licanotropy and fury) . I got about 35 spare points and I do not have the slightest idea where to put them. I play mostly pvm. I was thinking about ghosts ,which I always used to use,but they die instantly on hell...
Wolfs and bear are useless in my opinion too.
I use the followind gear.:
Eth Botd ba
Stormshield
Jalal
Forty
Raven+crafted ring(ar,life,ll,Dex)
Highlord amu
gore riders
draculs
I'm not a fan of using 2-handed weapon and being hit all the time and with 75% to block I don't need any summoned creatures.
Maybe I should gather 6 more points and become a werewolf/bear druid?:wink3:
And..well...maybe I should start melee pvp with my druid? Don't know what is important though.
Any ideas would be appreciated,
Jan

My last post for a while, dump it into heart of the oak, it greatly boosts your life.
Our opinions differ
I love bear in all my druid builds. even one point gives you a distracting meat tank, and that can save ur life when hit by large packs.
for my elemental and shifter druids hes not my main tank (my merc does that) I cast him into a group, and when there pleasantly distracted, I pick of the stragglers and edges of group. the bear lasts long enough even in hell for me to whittle the group down.
ravens are another option, help alot with ranged attackers. and i usually prefer wolverine for spirit with my shifters. We get enough life from lyncanthropy, and its less deadly when your HoW dies :wink2:

plz make your last post a good one mike:laugh: . You have 2 options OAK SAGE and HEART OF WOLVERINE. I advice you to use oak sage because it is far better as heart of wolverine:grin:

OAK SAGE ALL THE WAY:laugh:
max oak sage, then rest into bear.
how is the most useless skill next to spirit of barbs.
you only get around 3k more damage and ar, compared to 3-4k life from oak

How much IAS should I have with botd ba then? How much to have fastest possible attack?

max heart of wolverine
it's 800-1000 life (at level 25+) is enough in hell to only require re-summoning 2-3 times a minute
i assume you are not hardcore
in softcore killing speed is everything which is why i recommend HoW
300+ vit and level 20+ lycan should get you 2.5k+ life in shifted form, which is plenty in hell with your high botd leech

Your already as fast as you are going to go with a botd ba. Fury's, as well as any other wolf move, is only calculated on the weapon's ias. Offhand ias will do nothing for you. The only thing that increases your attack speed would be werewolf's lvl i do believe. And dont knock 2 handed weapons. They have been proven to be some of the most effective uses against casters in pvp and can be more effective than 1 hander in pvm from what ive heard
As for your skills:
pvp- Oak Sage rest into HoW or Bear
pvm- HoW rest into a vine or Bear or HoW

Under 130? I know nothing really off the top of my head. But from reading other's posts THE absolute best 2 hand weapon is a sheal sheal zod Eth Tomb Reaver with a eBoTD Greatpoleaxe in a close second, both weapons i believe are over 150 str. There are probably other options but ones that are under 130 are probably not going to be greater than range 4. Hopefully someone else, or you can make another post about it, can suggest a decent long range item that has the requirements you specified. Good luck

outside weapon ias doesnt make you hit a faster attack, u will hit 9/5/5/5/5 fury if i remember right. The fastest possible is 4 fps but this is impossible to hit with botd

I don't personally see how its possible that any type of tomb reaver, eth shael shael zod included, could possibly be considered better the ebotd GPA.
Especially in PvM.

eth botd gpa needs 134/70 which is close enough
