Highest Damage

What weapon will have the most damage using fury? I like the Thunder Maul but im reading that a BOTD Great Poleax would be better. I plan on using feral rage and fury together and im just looking for maximum damage output.

It's not all about listed damage. eBotD TMaul might have more listed damage but it's slower and has less range. eBotD GPA has damage (slightly lower), speed, and range.

Mabye not, but i think he meant fastest killing speed, in which a mix of 5 fpa fury + huge phys dmg + ds + cb would be best.

Let me try my hand at this, although I haven't played for a year or so...

fpa = frames per attack
ds = deadly strike
phys = physical (dh :P)
cb = crushing blow

Write back if you don't know what any of these do...

I'm still trying to figure out the point of this post besides confusing the poor guy...

The original poster asked which weapon to use (between Thunder Maul and Great Poleaxe). I told him that the speed and range of the GPA more than make up for its slightly lower damage.

Ok im making this druid to fight against other mellee classes that have shields with 75% block. My plan is to have as many crows and wolvs as possible and then me using furry to get them into block lock and just hack away at them. Is the great pole axe gonna work?

Dont exspect too kill most char's with Max block that have fast attacks speed's like fury wolf's,zealer's etc with a 2 hander , they will be able too tank some hit's if they have good dr and blok ... your main target's with a ebptd gpa will be Caster's , hammer palli's and smiter's. andf oh yah you should be hittin around 12k or 14k max fury dmg with ebotd gpa

I have been able to tank most of the one handed west werewolfs. Then again they didn't own no 9 shape gc of vitas. Zealots diffent story.

blocklock no longer happens, they changed the manner in which blocking works..


that said - go with either botdgpa or tomb reaver.
