I have a question on what people think is the best for the job? I am thinking chains of honor but ive heard of smiters using duress and fort as well. What do you think is best. Also should I use gores or goblin toe? thanks for all your help.

Well there are several factors. If you have just amazing amazing resistance and are stacked so much Chains of Honour do little to help your chances for victory.

If you have amazing Crushing Blow, but your resistances are lacking then Chains of honour is very helpful.

Here's a little key.
Need lots more res? Use Chains of Honour.
Need a little res, but Chains of Honour provide too much and you don't like the other mods, or require a damage boost? Use Fort.
Need CB and OW, grab duress. Only if your resistances are set though.

IMO chains of honor is the best here since you'd need huge resists in uber trist. And CB is achievable by wearing gorerider+guillames. While a damage boost is available with a grief. But I agree that duress will be good also, it's just so cheap that you can make one if possible.
