View Full Version : Summoner: Spirit Wolf, to max or not?

I'm trying to make a strict summoning druid, and I'm pondering if maxing Spirit Wolf is really worth it. The +to AR and +Defense doesn't really seem worth the extra skill points, since they'll have more than enough life from the Dire Wolf Syngery. What do YOU think?

I think it's worth it considering the summons need AR + Def in hell difficulty

Right on. Thanks. I'm maxxxing HoW as well, so hopefully that will help any AR problems my wovies will have.

i maxed spirit wolves and use them with HOW and raven as my main attack force. them spirit wolves tear stuff up.

i'd max spirit wolf last. but yeah, all remaining points dump into'. max summon grizzly, dire wolf, heart of wolverine, poison creeper (the poison damage is just ridiculous, also prevents monsters from healing which is key in hell), and then lastly, spirit wolf is how i'd make a pure summoner, which btw is very fun to play. i chose to use shockwave aswell to help my summons out (btw, anyone know what a good level for shockwave is?). :grin:

I would take max spirit wolves over maxed How on my summoner. I use werebear and ride the plus skills bandwagon, but still i dont have enough for max HOW. the spirit keeps the doggies rollin
