Is this really true?
Do you lose the boosts from the Anya quest when you die once in game?

I feel I've been dropping rather quickly versus some cs zons where I would've lasted longer previously.

Even though it doesn't show on your char screen, yes you do lose 30 resists when you die. That’s why its best to stack 30 deep in pvp.

I just didn't bother doing the quests this time so I can see what my resists actually are and not have to do any calculating.

Lol? Then there really is no need to do anya q?After you die, the resists are lost while you stay in the current game. If you join a new game or leave and rejoin your current game, then you will receive the normal bonuses again.

I can't get why in the hell Blizzard hasn't patched that yet. Shouldn't be so hard...

Because Blizzard doesn't care much about D2 anymore, they think it's all good the way it is so leave it be. They're now working on cash-makers like WOW and starcraft:ghost.

this is insane -- this bug is STILL around?

damn.

has anyone run tests to quantify this? (eg, see damage before/after dying in a game vs. the same elemental attack?)

has anyone run tests to quantify this? (eg, see damage before/after dying in a game vs. the same elemental attack?)I did some test right after the 1.11 patch came out, and I did indeed lose the Anya quest resists once I died.

But anyways you'd be very likely to have -resists after dying so it's not much difference at all.

Having 75 resist all, compared to 45 resist all makes a huge difference actually.

As long as you don't die, you have the bonus. So be good at pvp and you won't lose it

In HC you can ignore the issue, of course

The thing is though, you'd get nk'ed very likely so 75% won't save you any better than 45%.
