Crafting Gloves Affixes Help.

At ilvls 1-30, there's a 40% chance of 1 affix and a 20% chance each of 2, 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 31-50, there's a 60% chance of 2 affixes and a 20% chance each of 3 or 4 affixes.
At ilvls 51-70, there's an 80% chance of 3 affixes and a 20% chance of 4 affixes.
At ilvls 71+, there's a 100% chance of 4 affixes.
Does this mean the ilvl of the base glove, or the ilvl of the crafted final glove? I assume its the final ilvl, right?

The chance of getting that specific mod in 1 possible affixes, so for example, if Alacricity has 5.5555%, and I craft a +4 affix glove, that means I have 4 * 5.5555% chance of getting Alacricity? Or I just have 5.5555% per every glove total? :tongue:

Correct. This is the items new ilvl, which is half it's old ilvl + half your clvl.

i will be happy to answer any questions you have after reading through that thread....just post the question there....i check the zon forum more than the stats....regarding your odds of spawning a certain mod....you have to remember that you cannot spawn 4 prefixes or 4 suffixes on a single craft...crafted items are treated as rares when determing what affixes can spawn....play around with the affix calc here http://www.diabloii.nu/affixcalc/ to determine odds of a certain affix spawning on a crafted glove.

btw...orphan was correct to ensure 4 affixes spawning the ilvl of the craft=(1/2 clv+1/2 glove ilvl) note you round down on each side of the plus sign.

determing the character lvl is easy...it is a little harder to determine the glove ilvl...these will vary depending on where you sourced them...either shopped(clv+5), gambled(cvl -5to+4) or looted from a corpse/rack/chest(arear lvls + modifiers for champions etc)

Considering the complexity of these affix rarity calculations, they could very well be given on exams. There's the multiple possibilities (number of prefixes/suffixes), affix groups and individual rarity you have to deal with.:shocked:

Currently, I made a clvl 47 Crafting mule, so I buy magic chain gloves ilvl 52 from nm gheed + charsi, for optimum 5.5555% of crafting Alacricity prefix. But doing so, I get final ilvl of 49, which is just way less for 71 to ensure +4 affixes. Any sollution to this problem? Sacrifice my 5.5555% for ilvl 71? :brainiac:

The complexity is more in the amount of calculations, not the difficulty of them. Wouldn't want this for an exam either.
