New maps?

I was in the process of baaling my paladin from level 94 to 95 over the weekend, and I run a series of baals in which I tele - I like to make sure that the portal sent is safe, plus this means that I know that I don't have to worry about someone else's hot tp or dealing with bots.

I pride myself on the fact that I am quite familiar with the maps, and am as fast as any bot.. well, okay, the bot might be about fifteen seconds faster than me, and sends the tp immediately, but whatever. However, while I was playing on... late Saturday, and Sunday, I realized something. The door from WSK3 to the throne wasn't where it should be!

Now, this seems to have held true through over 100 runs now... occasionally I'll see a map I remember, but more often than not, I don't think that I have seen these. Has anyone else who's learned the maps found this too? Or is it just 250+ straight baal runs that messed with my head?

I can't talk about baal runs, but I saw a new map in the third level of the flayer dungeon recently. The sparkly chest was in the MIDDLE of the level. I'd never seen that. I enjoy Act 3 so I've been down there alot, but I've never seen that map.

I've seen that map on a number of occasions. That's not to say that it isn't rare, but rather that it isn't something added in recently.

I've seen that map before as well, three times or so. The first was over a year ago.

However, these baal maps... *Shakes his head* I've done over 1,000 runs before these, and NEVER seen these maps before. So to go almost 100 runs afterward and not see the ones I'm used to more than 5% of the time, the odds of that ... simply mind boggling. If they were that rare, I woudln't get all these rare ones in a row like that.

i have done over 1000 runs myself, but my experience tells me that i only can determine the location of the door to the next level on the level of the wp.
for catacombs level 3 and wsk level 3 i never found a way to "know" where to go...
how does it work???
