which one is better without synergy?

could anyone tell me which one deals more damage without synergy, frozen orb or bliz? both slvl 20 and both have CM20. and what about slvl 30? thx a lot.

Blizzard will have the higher listed damage.

level 20 orb (with level 1 ice bolt as synergy due to pre-req) = 267-282
level 20 blizz (with level 1 synergy(ies)) = 655-711

keep in mind that the orb releases many bolts when it's casted so without synergy orb is a much better choice.

level 30 orb (with level 1 synergy) = 415-435
leevl 30 blizz (with level 1 synergys) = 1288-1355

still orb is a stronger attack due to it's ability to release many bolts when casted. This is without synergy(ies) of course

Blizz will have higher listed damage, but orb will do much better without synergies, since you can easily hit some enemies (ex. act bosses) with 10+ shards.

with bosses i just use blizz then swith to frozen orb cuz blizz misses alot
