So I'm bad at math and calculators have all these variables I sometimes can't answer. I know this has been answered a thousand times, but, could someone help me calculate my smite damage?

I'll be using:
397/40 griefz
398ed w/45 res phoenix zak
300 ed fort
57 ed rends
dungos
Coa w/ 77 ed/30ias
Gores
2x bk rings
maras
9x pcombs
anni
ptorch

Which will result in
lvl 39 smite
lvl 28 fanat
Lvl 39 holy shield

I'm not sure on the ed either of those add. But I was wondering if I would hit the last break point with this gear. And, what damage I'd be doing. Since, I'm ****ty at this d2 math stuff. Does str also add to damage? I have most of my str from charms, which adds up to 198.

The only thing you need to add is your invisible +Dmg on grief, the rest will show up on ur dmg screen.

So just add up your X%dmg from your stuff and multiply your grief's +dmg by it.

So 390(Phoenix) + 300(fort) + 77(coa) + 57(rends) + 400(fanat) [i dunno the actual fanat Dmg% and im not on D so im guessing on that for an example]

Thats 1224% dmg increase
So 397*12.24 = 4859 dmg

I'm almost positive thats right, but im also a noob at some of the calculations, but if its right just add 4859 to your max and min showing dmg and you'll know your total dmg.

Well I know you'd multiply by 13.24. :P Fanat goes up by 14 per level? It's less than concentrate I thought. Oh well, I can't look at the damage on the character screen because I really don't want to remake a smiter. They're horrible, in my opinion, in the fact that they can't kill anything but bosses. And 1pt in smite works just the same, maybe -10% of the damage.

Let's see:
(398%+300%+57%+77%+373%+300%+17%*8+15%*19+198%+100 %)*(397+45+135.5)=22.24*577.5=12843.6

So congrats, you have 12k average smite damage.

Double post due to some technical problem.

Thanks Mega, is there a way to increase the smite damage or is this pretty much as high as it gets?

I think basically that's close to being highest possible. Unless you pump a ton into strength otherwise I really don't think you can raise the damage much.
