Hardcore Newbie

Hello everyone, i just recently started playing hardcore because the challenge appeals to me, i have a made a summ. necro because i have heard there good to start with, currently im lvl 17 and on HCL, if anyone has any tips or perhaps any items to help me out, i would greatly appreciate.

Tips:

Trust no one until they earn it. Everyone is out to get you, guilty until proven innocent.

Know you're enemy, the PKer. His hacks/builds/strategies/hunting grounds. Try and profile everyone you meet. Look at name/lvl vs area of the game ur in/gear/skills used/behavior/etc.

Do your best to learn the pvm side of the game the HC way too.

Read the HC Guide stickyed at the top of this forum, it is quite helpfull.

My 2 cents:
-Quest through the game as much as possible with that Necro, you will end up with a better item base at the end.
-Make at least one other character and keep them around the same level, so when (yes, WHEN) one of them dies, you can fall back on the other.
-Vitality, Vitality and Vitality!
-Resists, Resists, and Resists!

Note: "Earning it" does not count as teleporting baal for you 5 or 6 times. I've heard of TPPKer's waiting until upwards of 8, 9, or 10 runs before showing their teeth.

If you play in open games, always use lvl req to prevent High-char tppk losers to destroy your games.If you request help for quests from a high char you dont know this could end deadly,Tppk morons are all over the place. You get 1-hit killed and you dont even notice why,how this was made.To play safe PVM nowadays is to play with trusted people you find in contact forums, otherwise you could be frustrated by playing this beautyful game very fast.

good point, that seems obvious yet iv never thought of it, thanks for all the tips guys, heh currently im lvl 32 or 33 doing normal baal, prior to that i got lucky and found a unique bone wand in cow level +2 necro skills!! pretty good for a beginner ^_^ now im trying to find the runes so i can make spirit :) if anyone wants to help me out personally you know my account lol
