My lightning sorc + merc [any tips plz?]

i have almost all items...good lvl+skilled also anni and torch
ready to the sorc...it's magic find lightning sorc with act2 nm merc

Equip:
Amulet: Tal amulet
Armor: Tal armor socketed PTopaz
Weapon: Occulus socketed IST
Shield: "Spirit" Monarch
Helm: Shako socketed PTopaz
Rings: soj+fcr ring (life, mana, str, res)
Belt: Tal belt
Boots: eth sandstorm 15str
Gloves: magefist

It hits the 105 FCR Breakpoint and the 60 FHR Breakpoint
also nice magic find..

my merc: act2 nm Defensive Polearm (it's holy freeze)
Weapon: Eth Infinity Cryptic Axe (im not sure about axe)
Armor: Eth Fortitude in bugged 11xx base def armor
helm: Eth blackhorn's for slow target (not sure about that)

Put a gaze or an andy's on the merc for life leach or he'll die. You'd be better off going for a unique setup such as Travs/Shako/Keep the tals arm/ammy/belt. Occy is fine. Though, that's just my opinion.

You might consider using the full Tal's since you're using most of it anyway. You'll do more damage and have more survivability for an insignificant loss in MF. That means in the long run you'll probably MF better. You'll also lose that stupid teleport on the oculus.

The other direction you could go is complete domination and use Griffon's, Arachnid, etc. and just plow through as many monsters as possible in level 85 areas.

Also, no life leech on the merc? How's that working for you?

I personally can't stand Oculus' teleport so I just went with my Eschutas for killing power to make up for the amount lost on MF gear.

He basically never dies unless I'm just being stupid or he gets a little too bold around Nihlathak when keyrunning and eats a few too many corpse explosions.

ok i'll use gaze on merc..maybe 08 gaze (8ll/8ml/25dr) or just norm one..
but i think using full tal is not so good
using 3 items will give me more mf and also fcr...

where to put infinity? CV or cryptic axe?
what should i take? gaze/andy/coh?
