Claws? In general, or do you have anything specific in mind? For magical claws, shopping at Anya is probably the fastest way to get the desired mods. As for rare claws, I don't think any monster has an increased chance of dropping. The fastest way to get a nice rare claw might be by gambling them; good unless you need ethereal.

Actually the title says nothing :tongue: Which type of assassin are you talking about ?

Anyway, I'm just an amateur with respect to assassins (I only played a trapper so far). Perhaps it's better to ask the pros in the assassin forum.
