some weapon questions

hiya

I got these weapons: botd ba, grief ba, beast ba

I know that grief ba + beast ba is the most used combo

but was wondering how grief ba + botd ba would do, someone ever tried it?
can it be better then beast?


other question:

how much dex does a bvc need? think I have now just with gear +/- 95 dex (w/o arreats)
do I need to put some stats in it or ...?

im already using base str

And that should be after Arreats+dual angelics to guarantee high ar versus hammerdins.

ive used the Botd + Grief on an older char, It works but i have found the grief+Beast is more usefull as the aura adds dmg and ar And generally u do more dmg with the Greif + Beast setup.

The 30 all stats is nice but still the duel leech is useless in pvp unless ur hitting a summoned creature, i.e druid wolves etc.

i have a BVC who can also easily be made to a BVE
I put zero pts into str and zero into dex and i am good against almost any build

For BVC i use Beast Zerk, Last wish Zerk, mage plate Enigma, Metalgrid, 2x Ravenfrosts, Dungos, Arreats, Marrowwalks, and IK gloves.
if you need In depth reasons for my choices on these specific items vs others PM me i'd be glad to share.
My skills are maxed at:
WW, BO, Shout, Axe Mastery, rest into Iron skin
1 pt into natural res and inscreased Stamina/Speed
While the pt into increased Speed does make you WW by your target faster and get less possible hits in some cases, it helps a lot because a little known fact is your defense goes to zero if you're running, making you an easy target, the pt into speed lets me walk and keep enough speed to keep up when i have to.

To convert to a BVE just take off Last wish and put on a Stormshield, you'll need the extra defense and block against other barbs and melee chars.

You cannot be a BvA without max block. Also, Last wish is too slow, metalgrid is crap, dungo is totally trash, marrows are garbage and IK gloves are stupid. What you have here is _not_ a BvC, rather a crappy PvM barbarian.

Try catching any decent caster without leap. Without max block you do not need defense. You will need 4-6 in increased speed.

To convert to a BVE just take off Last wish and put on a Stormshield, you'll need the extra defense and block against other barbs and melee chars.

With base dexterity your block will suck so a shield will be meaningless. Also, to achieve max block with Storm shield @ lvl90, you will need ~203 dexterity.

Please, do not post PvM crap barb setups when they are not even good enough for PvM. That was a total post of a dude with low wealth and no knowledge at all. Think again, ask around, re-make and you're good to go. Never, ever think that you can just turn a BvC into a BvA with no points in Dexterity, as a BvA's only purpose is to have max block and everything else is pretty much standard BvC.

In future please read the guides and ask ppl that actually KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!

Here are some mistakes i can point out;


Gear. Need i say anymore??
Stats. U have to put enough points to reach 40% R/W speeds with gear so that like 4-6 points as stated.
Leap is needed ideally 19 -21 lvl with full setup on.
The only possible way of getting block on a barb which is a BvC is a eld Whinstans shield. This will reduce the amount of point in block needed by alot.
