Hammerdin gear

I need to know what I can improve on my hammerdin gear. Right now Im wearing:

Helm: Ptopazed Shako
Weapon: HoTo flail
Armor: Enigma Dusk Shroud
Shield: Spirit Arakan Targe (ya i need hoz but what else can I improve?)
Amulet: Maras Kaleidoscope
Belt: Verdungos
Gloves: Upped Frostburn
Boots: War travelers
Ring 1: Natures peace (for Nihithak)
Ring 2: Raven Frost

im thinkin im gonna need some new gloves and a better belt but what are ur recommendations for better gear?

get fcr gloves like magefist or trang gloves, and for belt, dungos is fine but arach is also good for fcr and +skills. if you have problems with mana, insight on a merc should solve your problems.

You need FCR. You only have 40% right now; you need at least 75%.

You're wrong Evrae, he has anywhere from 65-75 fcr due to Spirit. If that is a spirit with 35% fcr you're pretty set, because in terms of reaching the next break point in casting(it's 75 then 125) you'd need a major overhaul of all your gear and that's likely not a good idea. If you're rich, sure, go for it. If your spirit is under 35, I'd switch to a wizardspike. Or, get magefists. Preferance I suppose. If you can afford it, arachs and gloves up'd magefists(They have mana regen which is better than the 30 cold res in my opinion).

Enigma Archon has more defence and it looks waay cooler :p
Otherwise, definetly go with spider, keep the spirit, and replace the Topaz in helm with an Um or Cham..

Also, switch your Nature's with an SoJ.. Keep Nature's just for taking down Nili. Otherwise, the SoJ is more usefull.

Anyhoo, since he says he wants to ditch the Spirit and go with HoZ, he should still get more FCR from elsewhere to make up for the lost FCR.

Well, I dunno if he should. Hoz is expensive, and Spirit is a lot. Fhr, Fcr, life, mana. A lot to pass up once you have it. :/ I'm afraid does make blocking easier, and it does have more +skills(2 to pcombat), but it lacks other stuff.
