Upped headstriker for frenzy barb?

For those aren't ridiculously rich like others lol, and just started playing again not too long ago... would this be better than a lightsabre? Was thinking about doing this I'm currently using a djinn slayer and lightsabre. works decently but I think an upped headstriker will end up with a lot more damage. What do you fellas think? plus the 130%+ deadly strike is nice

I use dual head strikers right now and i find them too slow but with the right equipment they might work

I on the other hand am going to make 2 silence phase blades when i get those ists
was planning on dual last wish but i'm poor for now

Headstrikers would be fun, I think - plus they look wicked cool. I had one on a Blade Fury Assassin and got more people asking "what the heck is THAT?" than with any other weapon I've wielded.

As far as IAS goes, try on some cheap Treachery armor - it'll give you GREAT resists and DR (from the Fade effect), 45% IAS, and some nice poison damage from Venom. You could couple this with the belts/gloves from the IK set, Cat's Eye or Highlord's (though the DS on Highlord's would be a bit redundant with dual Headstrikers :wink: ), and maybe even a 15% IAS jeweled M'avina's True Sight for another 45% IAS - your total would be 115% non-weapon IAS. You'd be hitting 5.5 fps with that setup - not quite the fastest break point possible, but 0.5 off ain't bad!

If you shaeled you headstrikers (assuming they're not eth), you'd only need 100% extra IAS - which means you could leave the helm socket open for a nice P-Diamond or Um. You could also, I suppose, swap out the IK partial set for some 20% gloves (Laying of Hands, for instance) and Nosferatu's Coil, which would save you another 5%. I like the idea of the M'avina's, though - you'd get to run around as a bare-headed, white-blade wielding, translucent maniac - always a good time. I'm all for using wierd weapons - go for the Headstrikers, says I!:thumbsup:
