pvp zerker, shield or not?

I'm either going to use an ebotdcb or an ebotd great poleaxe.

Granted I could use the cb without a shield, I would then loose 35% damage reduce. If i were to use the poleaxe I would be using a shaftstop.

It really depends what your characters function is. SS for example not only adds the 35% DR but it also eliminates 3/4 of the damage you will take all togeather because of block. A poleaxe does great damage, but go up against another barb or bowa with knockback and it will be a one sided match. Also Shaftstop is great for def and DR but it dosnt have the Rez or ED that makes Fort a superior armor.

I would go ebotdcb, SS with max block, and Fort. Dont forget angelics.
