blizz help pls

i started a blizz sorc im now lvl 18 but im having a lot of problom...
i dicided to go for 75 block so i dont put much in vit so i dont have lots of life
and im low lvl so im puting on a staff wich takes both places so i cant wear a sield so i dont have block or life
the guide said no mana needed even thogh i have 45 in energy but i dont have enugh mana i use ice blast and each one casts now abot 11 mana and i have to shoot one at every enemy i dont even mention tp so i gemmed a helmet with 2 eth and an armor with 2 perfect saphires i have a lvl 73 necro that can buy things for me what should i do to get over those probloms

i had the same mana trouble at low levels that you are talking about
i think by level 29 u can wear frostburn gloves stones of jordan and skin of the vipermagi.......so i kind of basically grinded it out until lvl 29 and then throw some frosties and 1 or even 2 soj if u can get them and u will never worry about running out of mana again :)

i do have a lvl 74 necro but all this equip is very expensice lol 2 soj? viper magi? maby the frosburn i can get and the viper magi doesent help the mana

dump mana and lifepoint charms on her to get her through the early levels. It worked for me. Use a civerb icon amulet with the 40% boost to mana regeneration until you can get an insight weapon for your merc to use. Otherwise get used to filling her 4 row belt with expensive piles of potions. Also calculate how many stat points you will have left over at your final level taking into account points spent on enough dex for max block and immediately begin applying those stat points to vitality. The only danger in not calculating your dex needs would be if you spent on vitality for so many levels that you didn't leave yourself enough future points to max block later, but in the meantime since you aren't using a shield it's insane to spend any points in dex.

and for the love of god don't waste any points in energy.

i use an act 2 merc always and i gave him a socket 2 spear with a sapphire and a skull i think and then i used frost nova to freeze groups of enemies and basically let him kill everything until i could wear frosties and soj
and yes unfortunately my entire belt was full of mana and i drank tons and tons of potions until lvl 29-30........but once u get past the running out of mana issue a blizz sorc is very fun to play and extremely powerful boss killer

yeh for some reason soj are very hard to find
i have only found one soj in about 3 years of magic finding
frosties should be pretty attainable and like zebulin said civerb ammy has some nice mana regen and should be easy to get also
trust me i was frustrated at level 18 just like you are......i couldnt kill one group of enemies without drinking mana pots lol

the civerb ammy seems to be extremely common. I have seen it drop so many times it's become quite an unwelcome sight. Your necro can probably get one in no time from rapid normal difficulty boss runs. It's probably easier to get than any single perfect gem so if the price is much higher than that I would regard it as a rip off.

Frosted gauntlets are quite a bit rarer but still certainly considered very common. Almost as soon as I started doing NM bosses I had one drop, and after muling it it wasn't long before another one dropped. I bet every MF character finds them early on in their NM runs.

At earlier lvls a sorc is allways a weak char. She runs out of mana easily. But the monsters are also weak, so... I suggest you to get a ranged weapon as backup... that helps a lot and u don't need to go melee.
As example, I wear allways arctic set with my newest sorcs until I get to lvl 25... u can get this set for a couple of pgems. Store str and dex charms to be able of use it at lvl 2 with your newest chars. I use bow as main attack until I have enough level to use a non-timered mass-damaging spell such blizzard, meteor, frozen orb or chain lightning.

i use a uniqe ring i dont remember the name( not soj) that gives 20% mana regan and 5 leech.. i got insight so in a couple of lvls my merc will help me and i dont think that with all that i still need frosies cause from some reason i cant find them for sell( this is a good place to tell me you have and youll give it to me for a price) (eu sfl)

Why bother to wear anything on a sorc in the early game? My sorc always naked until she lvl up around 70 and enter the hell start to do some sole mfing. B4 that, you just need hang around with some public game or if you can afford to pay a rush that will good, then lvl up in the public baal runs, you don't really need to kill anything untill you get around 70, then mana should be no problem at that time, you can do some mf run in NM to get some good gears, then enter hell.

that is a rather parasitic abuse of open public games unless you take the further step of not picking anything up and ask if they mind if you just hang out for exp. I was annoyed in my early games where I was struggling to best ancients for instance to have people log in and make the monsters tougher while not being able to contribute anything to the effort. Since most baal runs are probably efforts to efficiently gain exp rather than loot, I doubt most people would appreciate exp freeloading in most of them.

I just dump 50k on the sorc and fill my inventory with pots. Another way I do it is to get Khalim's Will and just melee the first 2 acts.

What animecrazy said... just fill your inventory and belt with pots. Theres nothing in normal you'll want to pick up anyway. That's what I do and while its annoying to use a potion every 5-7 casts, it beats wasting stats.
