Hello Everyone!
Wow, I sure was drunk last night... I'm afraid to log on incase I killed one of my characters!
Well as some of you know I'm leaving for Europe on Wed (26th) and I will be gone for 3 weeks (fly back on May 18th). I have quite a few exams to write in the 2 school days before I leave so I'm going to be spending most of my time studying for them rather then playing Diablo 2. So this is sort of my official goodbye thread.
I'm not sure if anyone is really that interested, but I thought I'd post a link to the itinerary of where i'm going etc. so you guys can be jealous.

I hope that nobody does anything rash while I'm away... like quit... no quitting allowed! When I get back from Europe I'll be moving back home for the summer. Back to my job, and back to Dial-up :cry: So I suppose I will be online less. I probably wont be playing my sorc at all since I can't stand teleporting on dial-up, so I'm going to have to build a new MF character, I was thinking strafeazon... mostly because I've never built one, what do you think? If anyone finds a WWS while I'm in Europe hang onto it for me rather then selling it to Charsi!
I will be sure to have a pint for each of you while I'm in Europe (or possibly more then 1 pint). Except xey of course, I'll have to have a mixed drink for you, since you don't like beer. Maybe I'll just set aside one night as a "not beer" night. :thumbsup:
Anyway, I should return to studying and packing! If I don't see you online before I leave have an awsome 3 weeks!

I was in london once for a couple days, ~5 years ago. I saw Big Ben, and the Tower of Longon, and I think we went for a tour inside the Tower of London also. The highlight of london was the Piccadily Circus though (or however you spell it). There is an arcade there thats like 10 stories tall, and one LOOOONG escalator that goes up to the very top! And then to get back down you have to wonder past pretty much every single arcade machine in the building to find each set of stairs back down. You'd really have to see the escalator to be impressed by it though, it was freaking high! Have you been there Chaca?
Hmm... there was also one night when we spent about an hour wondering around the same 3 blocks near our hotel looking for a chinese restaurant we'd seen earlier that day.... only to find out that it was closed when we finaly did find it. I believe we returned to our room and drank more.
I should dig out the pictures for that trip one day, its starting to fade from my memory.

Hmm... that could work, since I already have a trapper built and everything. What do you do about lightning immunes though? Just throw lots of those fire things that I can't remember the name of at the moment? I suppose a lower resist wand would work fine also.

Either, or the merc/shadow/mind blast combination. All are a bit slower, but they do work.
haven't been to the arcade you are talking about HP, but been quite a few places. Only really been here since January, and on a 2 year stint with my company. so still getting to know most of the places myself.
In any case HP, I have a strafer already built with a WWS. I don't play her much anymore cause of other characters, but I already have the WWS dual shaeled, upped, and most of her gear. Only stuff I'm missing is the helm, a ravenfrost and boots. the rest you can have if you are still inclined.

Wow, that is very generous of you, and I might take you up on that offer in a few weeks when I return. We will see how the trapper works out.
As for the Arcade, you should try and go there sometime. You don't have to actulally play any of the games, just go up the escalator. I'm not 100% sure if the Piccadily Circus is the official name of the place, or just what my father called it. Its basicly just a big square in the city that never sleeps, and being from a small town myself it impressed me.

ok, I think you are talking about trafalgar square. Picadilly is very near to that. Trafalgar square is a place that definitely never sleeps.

as for the hel... I wonder if either of us will remember in 3 weeks! Don't worry about it though, consider it a gift. Hel's aren't too hard to come by anyway.

Hello all!
I bought 30 minutes of internet time to e-mail my family, I have 5 miniutes left! Thought I'd say hello!
We arrived in amsterdam safely and traveled to Bruges, its amazing here! I've taken so many pictures already.
We proceeded to taste test the local beers until ~4am (some stayed to close the bar at 6am)
The walking tour today was fasinating, even with the hang overs!
