new sorc build help

[stuslegend]

i was thinking about making a melee sorc weilding insight staff/polearm while
maxing out energy shield/telekenisis, some warmth n stuff
[im on ladder btw}

equipment would be :
dream helm
insight polearm
shaftstop armor
bloodfists
verdungos/trang belt(cbf)
2 x soj
metal grid
sandstorm treks

skills 20 chant
20 light mas
10 es
20 telekenisis
15 fire mastery
15 warmth

damg would come from dream/enchant + mastery bonuses
all points into mana ( mabye 100ish into vit)
attack rating would come from , insight 225% ar,enchant maxed,metal grid amulet
(and on switch, either widow maker or cta)

so has anbody tried anything like this? any good? wondering if my slow cast rate/attack speed would be a big deal .... id like to try it in pvp, cuz thats mostly what i play
(and i dont wanna learn towards using 'passion' runeword, im trying a totally different build with that)

my friend tried something close to this. it was suppose to be a tank sorc. max warmth and insight (maybe something else too) got him 1200% mana regen. he got 2k+ mana, 95% ES, and he was sorely disappointed. i think he tried it in pvp though.

if this build works, it will only work pvm and it will depend on you dealing a good amount of dmg.

Build is okay if you plan to have a godly merc doing all the killing, because you can't do any damage with that setup espically in pvp.:undecided:
