Fastest attack speed for conc barb?

How much IAS do I need to reach the speed breakpoint of a conc barb?

I currently have a unique tomahawk with 40% IAS and hands of laying with 20% IAS. I'm I nearly there?

Thats 60 ias total. Not bad, but you might want to get more. I recomend you a Highlords, it gives another 20 ias, which will get you to the next bp. I suppose you use Arreat & Stormshield, which you can also socket with 2x15 IAS jewels, they are pretty cheap (But I recommend 2x40 ED jewels, these are more expensive, but will help you more IMO).

Definately socket your Razor`s(I suppose thats what you are talking about :) with a Shael(worths only pgs), which gives you another 20 IAS. So you can boost your IAS from your 60 to 130. Not sure to which bp will this take you, as I dont have the link. :/

Berserker Axe: Higher damage, lower requirements, lower base speed (meaning faster attack), better uniques, more runeword possibilities, same range as CB.

BA breakpoints with conc: 75% ias for 10 frames, 125% ias for 9

CB breakpoints with conc: 89% ias for 10 frames, 147% ias for 9

Axes all the way.

So I still dont know the BPs for tomahawks, but it certanly means you can stop piling if you use Dcleaver(which I stronlgy recomend, very similar to razors, just with better dam/ds) or some other rw in a Zerker. I suppose tomahawk bp is around ~90 too, so dump the two 15 IAS jewels and go with two 40ed jwls. Should take you to 10 frames.

How many sockects will I get of each one?

Yeah, you go to Larzuk and socket it.

Uniques/rares/sets get only 1 socket, magicals 1-2 sockets(50% chance for each) and normals max possible sockets.

Just found the IAS calculator... (http://diablo2.ingame.de/tips/calcs/weaponspeed.php?lang=english)

According to this, your tomahawk needs 75 IAS for the 10fps bp which means 2.5 attacks/second. The next bp is at 125, which you can get to with ias jewels. That would mean 2.7 attacks/second. I recommend the 75 ias bp.

40ias from weapon + 20 from shael, 15 IAS jewel, and switch LoH to Dracs.
Or keep LoH and socket 2x 40 ed jewels.

Btw if you were on Bnet europe I could lend you a DCleaver, as I just switched to Oath :)
