Yes I remember On DiabloII.net they had a series about this necromancer and christmas I think, anyone remember this?

Edit: It may have been a different charachater, but he went to vist the necro or something.

Hrm...well, I don't remember there being something about visiting, really, but Flux of Diabloii.net did some holiday Diablo II stories some years back, and a Necromancer did appear in them. Here's the link: http://www.diabloii.net/halloween/xmas-story-2002.shtml

I think all of the stories he did in the series are on the site, and you may find them entertaining even if they weren't what you wanted specifically. Hope that helps.
