TPPK in SC

Is it around in SC? i know it's a problem in HC, but was wondering if it's possible in SC.

Why wouldn't it work with softcore?! Only thing different between sc and hc is that you can't re-spawn in hc. Why you'd want to tppk in sc is beyond me tho.

You tppk with hydras right? That's all I thought you could do it with.

Ice Blast, Bone Spirit, and Tornado are the most popular, but literally any lingering projectile except Blessed Hammer can be used. Hydras and Traps are considered minions so they don't work.

In HC do you kill someone then tell them you'll give them some of their stuff back for looting them? Or do people do it just to do it? I'd do it in SC just for gold. :P

They can't set it to let you loot after they've died - or at least, you couldn't when I played HC in 1.09. As far as gold goes, that's probably going to be picked up by any survivors, so that's a moot point. Mostly, they do it just to do it... in HC, they do it to piss people off, I think.

People do it (TPPK) because they can. There's really no rational justification for doing it. It's essentially a form of bullying or terrorizing that has absolutely no real life repercussions.

To anyone who has been playing HC only for years, like me, the above is shocking.:rolleyes: tppk is such a big part of any HC player's gaming experience... It completely change the face of HC. Hydras were actually the least dangerous of all tppk and mostly used by noobs who didnt have actual tppk scripts. When they were around guided arrow with the old pierce was 10 times as deadly. To this day blizzard refuse to give a damn about HC and wont fix tppk. Speaking for myself I play classic because tppk is much more dangerous in LOD and you don't have to be so paranoid. Why do they do it? For fun.

I always find it more effective to run to a baal run or a chaos run and hostile and tele there myself. It's quite easy on chaos runs, baal runs I usually die after the 5th person drops. :/
